This company pays workers the least in Healthcare. They have rude and l mean rude scheduling workers especially Amanda. She talks to workers like children especially if she fails to notify the employee that assignments are canceled. Rude is an understatement. The company treats employees horribly. One incident l could quote was my driver license was about to expire waiting for renewal. Before l submitted, they were flooding me with calls. I was not without one drivers license till after 3 weeks. My client was not needing to be driven either anywhere. Guess what, they sent me a note saying oh you cannot work by Friday your account will be inactive. The Saturday l was to go work, l could not go because by previous day my account had a timer for deactivation. Saturday l didn't. They were busy calling my phone as they had missed someone to go. I called them told them my account had a warning if by Friday l don't submit a license, l would be deactivated. It's like l had no drivers license or was illegal.. They are a mess. They thought l was only working for them so they had an upper hand but l had many better paying jobs. Solution is all the black people tirelessly working for this company, need to start th.eir own home care business and stop being treated as slaves and selling their dlast drop of blood They are rude, hostile, and unprofessional to the note.

I used Home Instead services for my mother after she had her fourth spinal compression fracture. She was in a large complex brace and ambulated with a rollator with great difficulty. I initially used the service just for respite because I was her sole caregiver and couldn’t get out for Bible study, shopping, etc. While I was gone, they would bathe and dress her, change her bed sheets, prepare her breakfast, and slowly get her to her recliner. Not only this, but they would take her through the neighborhood in her wheelchair! With my mother’s permission, I used the entirety of her Social Security check to pay for as much time as I could get with Home Instead. They were a lifesaver. I’m a registered nurse, so you KNOW that I was picky!

Home Instead is a top quality home care company. Nobody is perfect, but they try to be and really care about their clients and employees. Highly recommend them if you need home healthcare for a loved one!

The owner of this franchise has no idea how to run an in home care business. NO consistency in who comes to your home which in many cases is vital!
