List of Lifestance Therapists & Psychiatrists Chicago's Reviews
Vicente is an amazing listener. He’s very thoughtful and considerate of his client’s needs. He also has tools to help you navigate through what you’re experiencing right now in life.
Dr. Karen Escobar ALMEIDA really cares about her patients! I really enjoyed working with her. The platform is great and seamless. Staff respond promptly to any issues. Highly recommend.
The psychiatrist is good, but the patient portal has been very difficult to use. It doesn’t accept my password and won’t send an email to reset it. But apparently that’s the only way to communicate with the psychiatrist’s office.
The online platform doesn’t actually work for scheduling.
A very positive experience on my first visit. Extremely competent and compassionate physician, experienced and deeply qualified; a careful listener.
The first session was very insightful. I would encourage talk therapy for everyone.
Fast, easy, and convenient!
Dr. Escobar was extremely attentive and listened to my concerns and was very informative. I finally felt heard and understood. Thank you for the support.
Cherrell listened to me. It was my first telephone appointment. She really started from the beginning. I honestly felt lifted up. I’ve been paralyzed, but after our session, I felt hopeful.
Had an appointment that I scheduled a month out and made sure to call beforehand that the paperwork was good only to show up and be told it was cancelled. Ridiculous. Then the clinician asked if I want to reschedule... Obviously not with the horrible communication.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
