Made an appointment for consultation was told that $150 out of pocket since removing a birth mark is considered cosmetic insurance wouldn't cover. Came in there instead of meeting with a doctor they set me up with a nurse who clearly had no idea of what we needed to consult about. Then a doctor comes in with China doctor who is on training they say- he tells me that he can do a laser treatment yet doesn't guarantee that will have any progress. The third option was a removal of the birth mark, the doctor we would meet is a new consultation and I would have to pay out of pocket since they are unable to accept it. Scammers, I will never return nor I recommend this office to anyone.

Dr Bhatia and his assistant was amazing ! The receptionist was so rude, when I gave Her my card that was “required” to keep on file, it is a master card but was a care credit logo on the front. You can use it as a Mastercard , but she insisted she would not take it. When I handed Her another card she said very loudly “will this even go through”. Not sure why she felt the need to make me feel that way, I was already nervous for a skin cancer procedure I was Having done. I went On their billing website, and made a payment using my care credit MASTERCARD. And it definitely went through. They need someone in the front desk that makes patients feel welcome, not like a Burden..

I have been a patient of Oak Dermatology for years . I just had a recent surgery and once again the team was outstanding .The care is exceptional and the treatment by staff is admirable. You are treated with respect and appreciation. I would not consider going anywhere else .
