List of Pinnacle Dermatology Munster's Reviews
Not what you would expect from a dermatologist office. Would not recommend this business.
-10 , This place is horrible and unprofessional. Dr.Jordan does NOT use sterile gloves during her surgery at all. They act like the place is high school, they fight over iPads , and supplies and talk bad about there employees. I wouldn’t bring my dog here. Pay attention you guys they have a new nurse nurse practitioner all the time because they keep quitting because of how unprofessional the place is.
The Munster clinic and the Merrillville location are both clean and sanitized. There's very easy assess for the person's with disabilities. Staff and knowledgeable and friendly and Dr. Karen resolves all issues personally. Very satisfied with my visits.
Been waiting a week for them to send the pre authorization for my medication.
Do not go here wont return call or fill scripts I need for my daughters eczema flare up. I cant even get anyone to return calls to get them in to see the doc . Drove by at 3:00 pm doors where locked lights out.
I saw NP Donna Ward and was not impressed at all. She had no bedside manner and barely looked at me, Didn't appear to want to touch the areas I was concerned with on my back, chest and neck even though she had gloves on. She keep trying to leave the room without asking if there was other areas that I needed checked. Prescribed a cream and told me to come back in 6 weeks if I wanted anything removed. She wasn't in the room more than 5 minutes if that. I would go back. Find another dermatologist is my recommendation.
Made an appt with the nurse practitioner for my daughter, specifically asked to see the nurse practitioner. When she went to the appt she waited an hour and then ended up with the Dr. The Dr. spent 30 seconds in the room and left without giving her any information or direction. I called the office to tell them I do not feel I should be charged for this appt and it has been almost a month and I have called 4 times, given different names of people to talk to every time, and had no one call me back. In the meantime I received a $200 bill. I'm very angry and plan on going into the office to get this taken care. Terrible treatment. If I could have given zero stars I would have.
I also followed Dr Ward to her new office.I have always had great experiences with her.Dr Ward is thorough, she comes into the room and does her job and gets out. Have your questions and concerns ready for her. I've read other reviews that speak of her bedside manner, I really dont see it that way, I go to her for her educational background, I'm not there to small talk. She has always answered all of my questions. Her staff is all friendly, "multicultural" and has always been VERY nice to me and my family. The office, bathroom and waiting area are clean. I highly recomend Dr Ward, I drive all the way from Crown Point to see her, she is worth the drive.
Followed Dr. Ward to her new location and everything is still great! The front desk staff were very pleasant and I found the waiting room very comfortable. The staff member taking my pre-checkup Blood pressure, pulse and medical history was very professional and attentive, so not sure why other people have had issues. Dr. Ward did a thorough checkup answered any questions I had and was just as friendly and communicative as she has always been.
Have gone for several years, both for the standard annual checkup, and for various removals. Staff is friendly and Dr. Ward is caring, compassionate, and has a great sense of humor. : ) Everyone is very easy to talk to there. I also like that they are technology friendly and offer things like tablets for forms, updates, and paperwork. Makes my life much easier, using that system, as opposed to having to gather millions of notes and papers together. Anytime I've had billing or insurance questions, I've been able to go over even minor details over the phone without being rushed. I have always been able to have my questions answered and problems solved.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
