Very poor mask compliance. This pandemic is very dangerous for some of us. Masking should be an absolute requirement that is adhered to by all hospital staff!! No exceptions.
Cannot get past to main elevators. No children allowed in and you are asked why you are there. Banded if approved past the tuff screeners who will call security if you aren't cooperative enough. Geez LCMC get a grip, the plague of restrictions is the only thing contagious in your facility.
(1 of 2) EJGH charged $800+ for a Holter monitor test, but the hospital issued false results, the doctor and a staff member certified false results, and the doctor's office never contacted me to provide or explain the results even after I had reached out to them.I accessed the results online and they claimed I only wore the monitor 10 hours when I wore it 36 hours. No explanation was given for the 26 hours of unreported results.(2 of 2) EJGH charged $500+ for a primary care visit during which:a) The doctor refused to discuss medical issues that were not reported directly by EJGH emergency room doctors.b) The doctor refused to review the medical questionnaire requested by EJGH and submitted to EJGH even after I explained the EJGH questionnaire included medical issues, medical history, and family medical history that were not on the doctor's office forms.c) The doctor refused to review any medical notes or lab results from an Ochsner Health emergency room - even after I explained that the attending doctor and lab technician noted several times in the documents that I may have a terminal illness and needed outpatient follow-up.d) The doctor refused initially to provide a referral or treatment after refusing to review symptoms, medical history, family medical history, medical notes, or lab results.e) The doctor created an EJGH medical chart with false information.Update: Two months after receiving the primary care concerns to EJGH, EJGH mailed a letter advising the primary care doctor’s behavior appeared to be correct and in accordance with their policies and procedures. EJGH did not explain which of their policies and procedures were being correctly applied through the refusals.
The phone line 0 to make an appointment is beyond disgusting. I waited over 30mins for an answer. Then I called back just to ask a quick question regarding my appointment. I waited over 30mins again. Then someone answered and hung up. I literally heard the phone pick up off the dock and they hung it up deliberately within mili seconds. The aftermath of my wait just for that to happen was amusing. I know it was after 3p and they’re anxiously waiting for clock out but that was just rude. I don’t even think I should trust this place under my care.
Lactation Department is a joke and the on call pediatric doctors all missed a serious tongue tied and lip tide. Don’t recommend going for delivery.
I can’t believe my mother is stuck in the hospital and they do not have TV service I don’t think they paid the cable bill. And now the WI FI is not working. Get it together EJ. You are driving the patients nuts without any think to do
Visited the ER with an 86 year old with weakness and abdominal pain. After 3 plus hours they are unable to find her a bed, stating they are understaffed. As the pain and weakness intensify, I ask for a pillow and blanket so that she can be moved to one of the recliner chairs. I'm trying to make the best of a bad situation. I'm told she can have neither because they only have them in the back but they give me sheets. How is it possible that a hospital this large cannot provide even basic comfort measures?
Terrible Dirty!!!!!! I’m afraid for them to touch me and having to touch anything in here! Nursing triage was horrible! Nursing Staff Horrible! I am so sorry my daughter took me here!! I’m feeling horrible but I guess my pain and discomfort doesn’t mean anything. Not the right color, I guess!
After standing in an emergency room for five hours (and not being offered a chair) I'm very sorry I brought my son to this establishment. We were told he would be admitted almost six hours ago and are still in the emergency department. While the er doctors were cordial and friendly the nurses were not. My son's nurse was named Rebecca and was just about the coldest and most unfriendly nurse I have come across. My son was cold no blanket or pillow was offered at all. Will most definitely go to oschsner in the future.
Just wanted to update my previous review, and I really wish I could remember the name of the doctor that treated me so terribly. Turns out that because I'm a female, just about everything is anxiety. When in reality, I have a dysautonomic condition called POTS. I would think the fact that I was losing consciousness was a good indicator that it was probably more than just anxiety. Then I was yelled at when I became upset about a change of plans. I was told I would be seeing my regular doctor and complained that the lights were too bright and hurting me. Guess what kinda people get upset over things like that? AUTISTIC PEOPLE! I HAVE AUTISM! Now I'm diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos syndrome as well, and I possibly have gastroparesis. I haven't been able to keep anything down in over a week, And I'm terrified to go to this emergency room because of the horrible way I was treated. Moral of the story: BELIEVE FEMALES PATIENTS AND LEARN SOME COMPASSION!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
