Dr. Alexis Perkins is the absolute WORST dermatologist!! Please STAY AWAY from her at all costs!! I never complain but must here. I will NEVER trust a doctor again. I regret seeing her more than you can possibly know. I have not slept well for 8 months and cry constantly. I went for a skin check, which I completely regret. She lied and scared me for life on my collar bone, which I see every day and reminds me of how HORRIBLE she is. I unfortunately agreed to a "scrape" of my collar bone. I didn't know to ask questions because she didn't explain ANYTHING. I just thought she was going to scrape skin cells. I didn't know what she was concerned about, why, and that she would cut me and scar me forever. She didn't tell me it would scar. She didn't show me the mole and I couldn't see my colar bone or feel what she was doing since she used Novocaine. It was benign. Of course! I could have told her that since I m super sun safe. She lied in my medical records that I was fully informe. LIES!
Laura S is the best !! I had the pleasure of meeting her she was amazing and so informative I can't wait for my appointment !!! I would highly recommend her because of her knowledge and sweet personality!!!
During my visit, I noticed that staff were announcing patients’ full dates of birth out loud in the waiting area. This raised privacy concerns for me, since medical information (like date of birth) is considered protected health information under HIPAA. I feel that patient information should be handled more discreetly.
I was referred to Dermatology Associates by my PCP. The first visit was unsuccessful as the doctor did not have knowledge of my complaint and was unable to performed the required biopsy. After visiting an associates office in Concord twice, they finally did the biopsy. Weeks later I have not heard the diagnosis - four weeks later. They do not refer phone calls, have numerous telephone numbers which never lead to a person. Same with text. My PCP finally called their office and indicated they would call back same day. But still no call. I cannot recommend this office as they are terrible on patient care and follow through. Mike B
DO NOT let them recommend Fluorouracil cream without understanding that it is a chemotherapy drug that will BURN YOUR SKIN OFF for weeks and you will not be able to go outside because you look like someone took a blowtorch to your face. Waited many months for an appointment, was rushed through and not adequately advised.
So far I went here twice. It is hard to evaluate medical places. In logistics it is good. No big wait and organized. I will update review with more visits.
The staff, medical assistant and PA I met with were kind, helpful and professional. I highly recommend this place. They explained things simply and did a great job.
I have had the pleasure of dealing with both Dr. Alavian and Dr. Zipoli and they are both thorough and professional in their care.
Dr. Alberta takes the time to listen to you and is very very thorough in her examination
I have been going to Dermatology Associates for years and always appreciate the competency and professionalism of the staff. My most recent visit was with Dr. Christina Alavian, and she was excellent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
