These people are unfriendly And Rude, I've never once had a positive interaction with the front office staff or scheduling. No compassion or empathy. Impossible to schedule. avoid this place. You can tell them you think you have skin cancer and they'll make you wait months and months and months.

I phoned the office for an appointment and was told by the scheduler that Dr. Christina Alavian had several openings on Monday, July 20. I arrived at the building, walked upstairs to reception and waited several minutes to check in. At check in I was told to go downstairs. I walked downstairs and Raven (receptionist) told me that because I was 'late' to my 3:45PM appointment by 9 minutes that I would need to reschedule. She said this is 'protocol' and I enquired whether the customers (patients) were aware of this as I was not?! I then proceeded to head back to my car and call the office and left a message for both John (manager) and Dr. Alavian. Three days later and no return call. This practice just lost 4 patients due to this very poor customer service. My entire family is going across the street to Adult and Pediatric Dermatology.

i have had really good interactions with 3 different physicians and staff here. Though I hope not to need to return, if i have needs, and I'll happily go there

Dr Sally Tan noticed a small dark mole on my shoulder when on a routine visit for something else. She immediately wanted to do a biopsy. It was melanoma. She removed it with a very large margin. A 5 inch scar which after 2 months is barely noticeable! . She did an excellent job with the surgery. Her keen eye and surgical skills saved my life. B

Have been with them now for a few years. They take good care of me. Can highly recommend Dr Perkins.

The difference between a good Dr and a great Dr. is not only knowing how & when you should intervene with a procedure but also when you should not. I went to see Dr Sweany to have a procedure after my annual skin check. After seeing the issue and consulting with me on my history and other factors like neck pain from disc a issues that may be the actual cause of my symptoms she decided Surgery could make a small problem bigger. Therefore she elected not to do the procedure. Making a record of the area in question to watch. My father was a good plastic/ reconsructive surgeon. I remember watching him talk to his patients before every procedure somtimes talking them out of doing unnecessary procedures. A great Dr knows just because you think a problem may exist dosen't mean that's what's wrong with your patient. Everyone is different. The Dr's responsibility is to weigh the issues in every situation and then decide the best way to proceed for that individual person. This pratice dose a great job in many aspects and as hard as it is to find a good Dr theese days I was lucky to get Dr Sweany who considers her pacients' individual situation over a forgone conclusion of the billable hour. I think that's really Great!

I’ve seen her for a Hydrafacial in the past and most recently for an eyebrow wax, and both experiences were incredible. I’ll be honest—I was a little nervous at first, but Stephani immediately made me feel comfortable. She takes the time to really listen, pays attention to detail, and makes sure you’re getting exactly what you’re looking for. During my Hydrafacial, she explained each step and tailored everything to my skin, and my face felt so refreshed and glowing afterward. For my eyebrow wax, she was super precise and made sure the shape was perfect—not rushed at all. What really stands out is how personalized everything feels. You can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her clients, and it never feels like just another appointment. Also, this place is truly a one-stop shop for everything you need—Botox, filler, facials, eyebrow services, waxing, and more. It’s so convenient being able to trust one team with all aspects of your skincare and aesthetics. The entire staff is warm and professional, and the office itself is clean, calming, and welcoming. You can tell they hold a high standard across the board. I’m honestly obsessed with my results and the overall experience. I would highly recommend Stephani and the aesthetics department to anyone looking for high-quality, professional care.

Dr. Alexis Perkins is the absolute WORST dermatologist!! Please STAY AWAY from her at all costs!! I will NEVER trust a doctor again. I regret seeing her more than you can possibly know. I have not slept well for 8 months and cry constantly. I went for a skin check, which I completely regret. She lied and scared me for life on my collar bone, which I see every day and reminds me of how HORRIBLE she is. I unfortunately agreed to a “scrape” of my collar bone. I didn’t know to ask questions because she didn’t explain ANYTHING. I just thought she was going to scrape skin cells. I didn’t know what she was concerned about, why, and that she would cut me and scar me forever. She didn’t tell me it would scar. She didn’t show me the mole and I couldn’t see my colar bone or feel what she was doing since she used Novocaine. It was benign. Of course! I could have told her that since I am super sun safe. She lied in my medical records that I was fully informed. LIES! HORRID DERMATOLOGY OFFICE AND DOCTOR!!! I simply cannot put into words how traumatized I feel since that appointment 8 months ago. Please, please, stay away from this horrid dermatologist who should lose her license and dermatology office!

Consultation visit. Waiting far past designated time with absolutely no regard for scheduled visit. It's constantly baffling how the patient's time is so unimportant. Perhaps you might want to take into consideration developing some medium through which you could let the person know that you're running 45 minutes behind schedule so our entire day isn't thrown off? Maybe, like, tell us? If public transit can pull it off, I think you can too. Ironic how an industry based solely on helping others is so myopic and selfish. Maybe you should get that checked out? Enjoy the wait.
