Took my elderly mother to Dr. Gill who suffers from a type of dementia. Dr. Gill was excellent. Kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. He diagnosed my Mother when incorrect diagnoses were done in the past. Also helped very much with my Mother's depression. Her quality of life has greatly improved becuase of Dr. Gill's care.
I feel this neurologist really takes his time during the visit to listen to the patients concerns. He has great knowledge of his specialty making me feel comfortable being under his care.
I had a stroke in September 2014 and have been seeing Dr. Gill since that hospitalization. He is extremely comprehensive and thorough. He orders bloodwork, MRI's and EEGs that he feels will further diagnose and help my condition. He has now placed me on an anticonvulsant which is controlling seizures brought on by the stroke. He is a great physician and I could not recommend him more highly!
Dr Gill is approachable and kind and considerate. He truly takes the time to listen to my concerns and needs and I would highly recommend him. Thanks again Dr Gill for all your support and help!
Initially, a wonderful visit. Kind doctor, nice staff, good bedside manner. Made a plan to get me what I needed. I have a traumatic brain injury. My case can be tough.they ordered a CT scan that they NEVER got prior authorization for. It has been 60 days and counting on this doctor signing a form so I could have a CT scan of my brain. My insurance has called, written and no response form their office. I called so many times I gave up in frustration. Was told they have staff members dedicated to prior authorization. Gues they have been on vacation for 60 days. Meanwhile, I am dizzy, disoriented and with severe vision issues that require a STAT CT a to diagnose. I feel disrespected as a PERSON. They lie to my FACE telling me they are “ working diligently “ on prior authorization. Hey, I have tried to have a three way call with my insurance on the line. Never happened. 60 days is a long time to get the run around when you really don’t feel well…and is unacceptable. I wouldn’t see this doctor again if he were the last doctor on earth for the complete lack of humanity and compassion at my plight. ZERO stars.
I recommend never seeing this doctor. I went to him for epilespy that I have had all my life and been on medicine for thirty years when I first saw him. He had 7 years experience. He said he wouldn't refill my phenobarbital because he want to change a medicine that worked. I told that 3 of neurologists did the same and within a week I had grand mal seizures. They immediately put me back on phenobarbital. He refused. 500 seizures later, 3 years, lost my home, and will never drive
Not good at all not a good doctor at all and don't care at all.
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
