Hanger Clinic: Prosthetics & Orthotics's Online Review Report Card

I arrived for my 11:30 AM appointment at 11:25 AM. Ladies at the front desk are professional and polite. This is the only reason I gave Hanger a one star, because of the ladies. I waited in the room for Michael for 30 mins. I got tried of waiting, so I asked the administrative staff for my custom molded arch support, which I can cut myself at home. I needed to leave to make my 1PM appointment. This is my second pair I purchased within 2 months from this Hanger Clinic in Bethesda, MD. Michael enter the room without given me an apology for his latest. All he said, "Did we cut your first pair? Let me get you out of here". He sized my new right paired with the old one and stated there no need to cut them. In my opinion, I will not return to your clinic after receiving this type of customer service from Michael. I spend over a thousand dollars for two pairs. In my opinion, I will not recommend Hanger Clinic of Bethesda to my family, friends or co-workers. I will be writing an article on social media about the terrible service I received today.

The WORST place ever! LADIES... Do NOT come here! The guy Mike gets touchy feely with everyone and he brags about how much of a Narcissist he is. He only hires females there for one obvious reason, and Ivon is the worst receptionist! She hangs up on people and has Horrible customer service! When I first started coming here..this place was rated 3 in half stars now down to 2 in half .. this place is going down and Mike needs to GO he's a lawsuit waiting to happen!

these people are awful they didn't listen to me about my prosthetic hurting me the guy mike was more worried about being flirty and was over touching me to the point I was uncomfortable find anywhere else to go 🤬😡

Michael Muratore is a stellar prosthetist and the office staff are courteous and professional. Michael and the staff work well with CareFirst. They don't drive up patient costs. Rather, they order onlt appropriate and necessary repairs and replacement parts. Sometimes you must wait a few minutes beyond scheduled appointment times but the extra care given is worth the wait.

This is a fantastic place, I can't understand the bad reviews. Came for our appointment they saw us right away. No wait. Everyone very polite and friendly. My son needed custom Orthotics. They fit him and told us to come back in 4 weeks. Arrived 4 weeks later for our appointment --everything was ready; fit the Orthotics into his shoes and in and out in twenty minutes. It couldn't have been easier or more professional.

Avoid this place at all costs!! I was "fitted" for orthotics in June, and I still haven't received them in October. They had to redo them twice, because they caused me so much pain. Last weekend, I had an appointment to receive the fixed orthotics and no one showed up! So, now I have paid over $500 and gotten NOTHING. They don't answer my phone calls...no live person ever answers the phone. I have been totally ripped off. My next call is to the Montgomery Co. Claims Court to get my money back. Save yourself a lot of anguish and avoid this place like the plague.

My first visit was today. Had I read the reviews in advance, I wouldn't have been so surprised by the poor service. Mike is great. Administrative staff is clueless. They truly have no idea how to treat patients; no one takes responsibility if you take the time to point something out to them. Sad but not uncommon in Montgomery County.

Mike is great. Takes time and care to get it right. The rest of the clinic is terrible. Slow. Promises not met repeatedly. Wont call back. Tells me no appointments all week then makes appointment on Friday. Were they lying? Very frustrated.

My, mother purchased a back brace from hangers the other day from this place. She tried it on in the office and than told them she would try try it out thinking if it didn't help her she could return it. She paid 200 dollars for it and went to the grocery store to shop after an hour it became clear to her that it didn't work and it was a waste of money. With in an hour of purchase she tried to return the back brace and was told they have no return policy. Which would be understanding if it were a custom order but it was not. So be warned. This place scammed an elderly fixed income woman out of 200 dollars. So if you don't have a ton of money, you would be better off going some where else that actually will let you return products that do not work you. Imagine buying a prostetic that didn't fit or was wrong leg or arm and them telling you that you couldn't return it. This hangers is located in new port richey fl
