List of Uni Urgent Care's Reviews
Went with my husband on a Friday night. Front desk, MA, and Doc were all so pleasant. They quickly addressed my husband’s concern of chest pain and proceeded with an EKG as soon as they listened to his complaints. They were quick to take action, they were polite, they were concerned, and gave instructions on next steps. Good experience! Thanks to them, we didn’t have to wait in an ER for hours on end and got some resolution.
Fast service everybody was so friendly great experience would definitely recommend
Good excellent service,fast,thanks.
Excellent Service always
Everyone was very nice. I would recommend my friends and family
Staff was great. Very professional. Was explained the wait for rapid covid testing up front and their procedure was very efficient for as busy as they were the day I was there. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
First I must say when you go to an urgent care you already know long wait times are and expected. That being said this place was the worst when it came to the actual visit from the doctor. When I walked in one person was sitting in the waiting area. Upon check in at the front desk the staff member asked me for the reason of my visit. I told her I had a bad cough and was sick. I wasnt told to wash my hands or use disinfectant on my hands as they stated on their website they do to help stop the spread of the virus. I also wasnt lead to the separate area designated for patients with respiratory symptoms versus other sick visits. I coughed in the waiting area, but tried to stay as far away as I could from others waiting. More people came in as I waited.Once I was called back by Lisa (I think that was her name. (Its is on my discharge papers). I was lead to the exam room. We pasted in front of another employee giving an eye test to another patient. She (employee) seemed very annoyed we had to pass in front of her. Could see it in the expression on her face.I then saw a room with a door closed with a note on the door stating patients with respiratory issues or something close to that on that. Im guessing thats where the separate waiting area is. Which is where I should have been.Lisa was extremely nice and took down my medical information. She in herself was the best part of the experience. She gave me the covid19 nose test swab as well. She told me it be a little bit of a wait. I said I understood. An hour passes and the doctor finally came into the room with his apprentice. I think thats who he was. My exam, if you even can call it that was so rushed I dont think he was in the room more then a minute maybe less. The doctor barely listened to my lungs. Maybe 2 seconds. There was no breathe in breathe out slowly on the back and front where your lungs are. Where they move the scope onto different areas. There was no deep breathing, which is important. He didnt feel my glands on my neck or look into my ears even though I stated they hurt. All of that stuff is standard things for a doctors exam. After the drive by doctors visit he said I had bronchitis and would prescribe an antibiotic and to wait in the exam room for my papers. The doctor himself was nice. As I sat there I got upset because he didnt even look into my ears and they hurt so I got up and opened the door and waited for him and apprentice to pass by. I asked his apprentice if the doctor could look into my ears. Th apprentice was also annoyed, like how dare I stop them. The doctor finally did come back to look, but you shouldnt have to ask for basic exam stuff to be done.I then waited and waited. Waited so long my butt hurt. I heard the apprentice loudly say thank you for your patience to another patient Almost as dig at me. I was given my papers and left.I would go to a different urgent care if you can for a real exam. Lisa was the only positive for me at this location though the front desk women was very very nice as well.Because of the poor quality of my visit I spoke with my regular doctor who agreed it was a very poor exam and to go back to her once I get my test results back. The way my cough was and me feeling bubbles in my lungs when I breathed in of out a chest xray should have been taken. My primary doctor said Im so sorry. That in itself sums up my experience at this urgent care location. I now can see why the reviews are so low.
This place is absolutely awful. Feels dirty and reminds me of a clinic i had to go to in a Mexican border town once. The staff is not friendly and are very disorganized. This place needs to get their s*#t together.
I hope the management of this business reads these reviews, because what was supposed to be a promotion for the business today is the poorest promotion I have seen. UNI cared advertised a flu shot clinic this morning (with gifts for the first 25 people), and they opened at 8 am. My daughter and I got there at 8:15 and there was a woman sitting outside with a bunch of stuff and forms. I said, were here for the flu shots! And she said, uhhh, theyre not here yet, we dont know when we will get them, maybe sometime this afternoon. . . And on top of that, she said Insurance doesnt cover it. I said thats not true, our insurance does cover it, you mean to say that YOU dont accept insurance for the flu shot. This is ridiculous you can go anywhere right now, CVS, Rite Aid, etc. and get your flu shot with insurance, no problem. Thats what we did at 9 am. We only wanted to check out UNI Urgent Care because we were going to be in the same shopping center at the time. There was no excuse for having such a poorly organized promotion when you dont even have the product you are promoting, let alone not telling people its cash only, on top of a health care place NOT taking insurance at all! GEEZ! I will never got to them, based on this experience.
The reason for 3 stars is because when I came today to get seen, the greeting I received was less than welcoming. The young woman sitting at the desk looks up and says in a very robotic way have you been here before? Not hello, or even hi. Then I replied yes and I have new insurance. The young lady heard I have no insurance and replied well it $115 just to be seen, did you know that personally if I didnt have insurance that information presented to me in that way, would have really made me feel bad about myself. Thank God I have insurance. She wasnt discrete in her volume either and though there were no other patients in the waiting area, if their were I would have felt embarrassed, humiliated if I didnt have insurance. She eventually started to show some kindness and patience and politely asked me to wait to be called. Then when I was called back, again the nurse didnt say hello, or provide a welcome. It was put your purse down and step on the scale. The thing is if people dont feel well to begin with, then a welcome could help them smile a little. Something to keep in mind. I waited for Dr. Hope about 5 minutes and that exam was routine and pretty normal. I really dont like when people who are at work show others by their behavior and attitudes that they dont really want to be there. We all work, we all have a way to help each other. Do it with a smile

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
