List of Sadie Ochs Giedd's Reviews
I thought Sadie was going to do something about my back pain. She did a MRI then said there was nothing she could do except give me those painful steroid shots in my back!! (2 needles to each nerve with nothing for season or pain)
I thought she was going to be a great dr. But I have found out other wise. Dr. Ellis put me on pain pump years ago, and now she is planning on taking g it away from me. For no known reason she is cutting it down down and I can not stand the with the 1st cut of 10%.
i'm sure you wouldn't put anyone you know through what i endured. and continue to endure!
Let me save you the hassle of making an appointment with this doctor. Take some probiotics, lose some weight, eat more vegetables and fruit, and exercise. If you are overweight prepare to be fat shamed or just make an appointment with a different doctor for pain management because your weight is causing it, just don't even bother going to see the doctor, it doesn't matter if you gained weight due to the pain in the beginning or that you have had back surgery. Because you are fat now you have messed up your gut bacteria plus you are probably allergic to either gluten or dairy.
DrGiedd is the most compasasionate Dr I have ever known. She is very smart in knowing what I need. And she has always explained the options I have verses pain ma nagment. During my procedure she is very compassionate. I would recommend her to anyone. Thanks for your help.
I have never had surgeries or procedures done that the Dr. didn't come out and say anything to you before hand. I have seen her one time during the initial visit and haven't seen her since. I had to call 3 different times to get intermittent fmla filled out cause it affects my attendance and evaluations at work. My HR Dept. encouraged me to have it filled out and turned in. Her nurse Melissa acted like it was an act of God to fill it out and It still hasn't been filled out and turned in. I will cancel my next follow up visit since that's another day against my attendance. I will find another Dr. that actually shows a little interest in her patients.
Dr Giedd did a great job lessening my pain ,wish I hadn't waited so long.
I'm 25 years old, suffered severe pain for over a year and a half. It never goes away, day or night. I have constant kidney hydronephrosis. 3 surgeries for it despite a 95% success rate. A nerve got damaged during my first surgery resulting in my pain. Dealing with this lady is a nightmare. I hardly ever see her. Out of my last 10 appointments she's only seen me once. She's come in before with a chip on her shoulder, forcing me down on my pain meds despite my pleas to at least keep them the same. Then the next appointment when I'm in a lot more pain she has the nerve to start out by asking me, "ok, so what did we increase last time?" I said "nothing, you just decreased stuff." She'll treat you like your only problem is you're taking any kind of narcotic, instead of suffering and you actually need it to be active and function. She's lied to me before. I want my nerve cut and she said an epidural would be diagnostic and get me closer to having my nerve cut. Then at my next appointment I probe her about that, and I find out I'm not anywhere closer to getting my nerve cut than when I started. If you want anything done you have to demand it of her. She offers no ideas of her own. I mentioned at one point I was depressed, and nothing else mattered to her except for me going to see an psychologist. Time froze, even though I mentioned I feeling depressed because I was in such pain all the time, and that when I didn't hurt I wasn't in pain. She got mad and said, "are you threatening suicide to get more pain meds?" I hate this lady. She sucks as a pain doctor. When my PCP was managing my pain I was better off. I was able to walk 1.5 miles under his care, and only 0.25-0.5 under Dr. Giedd, despite no change in my condition. Honestly if you start feeling better under her care, not a lot, but if you get down to a 3 or 4 pain level all the time, it's code for decrease all their pain meds until they get to a 5 or above then keep them the same and never back up. She does not need to be a doctor. You will suffer under her care.
I was referred to this doctor named Dr. Giedd. The address sounded familiar and when I got to the office thinking that maybe it was a new partner, there it was Dr. Sadie Giedd. I canceled the appointment. This is Dr. Sadie Holland who I have nothing favorable to comment on.
I find the other reviews very backward from my experience. I've seen Dr. Holland for over a year now and find her and her staff very attentive, compassionate and helpful. They were especially helpful at finding pain solutions that I was comfortable with as well as options that worked with my insurance plan. I have had a positive experience with every visit and urgent call.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
