List of Phd Weight Loss's Reviews
they are an expensive scam! loosing weight should not be that expensive. they have many salem new radio show hosts touting the program, they should read the multiple reviews and complaints online before promoting the program. if something seems to good to be true.....it usually is, save your money folks!
Bait and switch! I initially was told of the two programs offered signature and Ops with the only difference being that one they provided 80% of the food and being more one on one and the other (Ops) having more of a group session. Was NOT told that only their Signature plan was the customized meal plan and wokeout plan. The cost is ridiculous for their signature plan it's $7,020 for 56wks and their Ops is $2096. They said that there was this Care Credit option that would be $175/mon or like $44/wk but made it sound like Klarna, did NOT inform me it was an actual credit card applying for! When I confronted them about only having pdfs sent to me and how they suddenly wanted me to do all these forms (also was NOT informed of at initial conversation), about the credit card impact and feeling not worth the $2096 they skirted around the issue. When I sent an email asking about possible refund or being removed from the program, they said that because of the contract I signed there would be no refund and I had to basically stay in until July, where then I could choose to continue for an additional $399/month! Now when I've asked to be removed from the program and no further payments taken from my account I get shuffled around to my "consultant," who said she heard about the email I sent wanting to discuss my account. Oh and ONLY their signature plan is custom meal plan and workout, which they did NOT inform me until after they pressured me into signing up.
This diet has not produced any results. Be careful too, the price is very unreasonably high and changes every time I discuss it with them. It is $5,000 for a year (at least for me). It seems to be different for each person. The price is the same whether you take the food or not. The food is not good with a few exceptions. I did not want the food and they sent it anyway. I got a bunch of the same thing. Each package is a very small amount and did not make me full. Each week I talked to a different person for 20 minutes, with no real solutions. I am asking for my money back. I feel a product should fulfill their promises and be worth of the cost. A 95% success rate is over the top. There is no way this can be true. That is 2 months without any weight loss.
Wish I had researched more before I paid these guys!! 3 months on PHD and I've lost 10 whole pounds! PHD only expects 0.5-1.8 pounds per week weight loss. Even if you lost 10 pounds a month that would mean you pay $100/pound! The counselors are really sweet and try to be helpful but can't make up for the flawed program. the "individualized" plan was a stock plan that everyone gets. The PHD food products are included in the exorbitant price. the food list got smaller every month however. Lots of artificial sweeteners and ingredients . Now I've gone on a diet including fruits and nuts ( no-nos on PHD) and lost 3 pounds in the last week. If you can grow it, pick it or catch it you can eat it. Much different than if you can open the package it's all good.
The plan works….but they’re just out to get as much money from you as possible and offer zero support once you get close to maintaince/aren’t paying any more. Some of the reps really know their stuff but many don’t and are condescending. No regard for how much money you’ve paid them or people being in vulnerable parts of their lives asking for help with something that is difficult in today’s society. If you want to pay to cry every week, but sure, lose some weight too - this is the place for you. Edited to add response- what is described below is inaccurate. I went in multiple times in the past six months asking for help, in tears, only to be brushed off that “I knew how to follow the plan” or to be asked to “restart” and spend additional money on top of the MANY THOUSANDS I’ve spent already (as has my mom after I referred her before I realized what was going on here). If following a diet plan was that easy I wouldn’t have needed this program to begin with. This is a business model built in greed, not on seeing people get healthy and stay healthy. It’s sad and unfortunate.
Thanks to PHD Weight Loss in Asheville, I am now living my best life. I dropped 43 pounds in 6 months. I've kept the weight off for 2 years and it's completely changed my life. My body feels 10 years younger and my mood/mind is significantly better. If you're considering the PHD program, my best advice is don't wait to start. Commit and do it. The coaching, food, and accountability fuel your motivation to keep going to drop the weight forever!
Love this program! Down 30 lbs in 18 weeks! Ebony is an amazing coach! The food, structure and coaching make the program very achievable and fun! I highly recommend for anyone serious about making health improvements.
This is my second review. I have achieved my weight goal, and I’m now in the Maintenance Phase of the program. Since I’ve been a “professional dieter” for most of my life, I feel qualified to say that I thought weight loss was no longer possible for this 66 year-old body. Remarkably it was possible as I followed each easy step of the program, and because I am absolutely thrilled of my success, I will continue to do so in the Maintenance Phase. PHD Weight Loss stays by your side and educates you along the way. It doesn’t throw too much at you all at once. The Program is so well thought-out and it guides you step-by-step on your journey as if they know exactly what you need to learn at the point you are in the Program. I also want to say that I had a fantastic coach, Ebony, who always gave me valuable information to add to my knowledge of losing weight. She was supportive, encouraging, funny, and even a bit “sassy” when I needed to hear it! I looked forward to our chats every week. I encourage you to join PHD. This is a trustworthy company, and the Program is the real deal. If you are ready to do the work to achieve weight loss, this Program will work, and you will get healthier.
I've tried many ways to lose weight but only one truly produced as promised. PHD Weightloss makes the experience about as easy as possible. Do as your Coach (Mine is Rachel) says and I promise you the weight won't only come off, it will come off at a rate that's truly hard to imagine AND you never go hungry. If you want to lose weight for the LAST time, give PHD a call now!!!
Can't say enough about PHD Weight Loss. I'm hooked! I thought since I was in my 50's and in menopause that I would never lose the weight. I'm pretty active and eat fairly healthy however, I was doing it all wrong. I lost 20 lbs a year and a half ago and look and feel the best I've ever felt. My energy is through the roof, I wasn't hungry and lost all my cravings. The staff is very helpful and super supportive. This was easier than I thought and the weight came off pretty quickly. Highly recommend this program to anyone. No gimmicks. Learn how to eat properly - what to eat and when to eat. They customize a meal plan for you and give you the tools that you need to keep the weight off.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
