Clean facilities and very nice staff. The nurse and the doctor gave conflicting prognosis, but it was a minor issue that I came in for that healed fairly quickly.The wait time for a Doctor was very long. Maybe they were short staffed that day, but I wait for about 3hrs to see a Doctor. I spent about 5mins with the doctor but waited in the exam room for 15.I also wish that the nurse and doctor provided alternative locations for the pharmacy. I had a bad experience with Bear Drug's Pharmacy next door and was met with some poor service as a 100% covered individual. Walmart would have been easier.

Extremely rude over the phone.

This was a horrible experience we were in the waiting room for half an hour, which doesn't seem that bad. But we got in the room and the nurse said it would be a few minutes. An hour later we asked someone why it was taking so long she said it would take a couple more minutes. An hour later we asked again and the doctor actually came in, he was very very apologetic and said the computer didn't show us. It was very frustrating especially when I saw another review that said it took them a long time. Very frustrating!

Took FOREVER to get into this place. I went in and they wouldn't give me a time frame for how long it could be and said we would be let in based on severity. We were bringing my two year old in who had a 102 fever and was lethargic. Guess she wasn't high priority. They wouldn't let us in the building, so we had to sit in the car for hours with no idea of how long we'd be there. It was over 4 hrs later, and since we didn't have food or entertainment for her so we drove to the closest store and grabbed some snacks and of course that's when they called us in. I said I'd be right there and once we got there, not 10 minutes later, said our spot was given up and we were at the end of the line. I thought it was based on severity?! Worst experience ever. But the only option with being on vacation. Hopefully if we visit the outer banks again no one will need to go here!

Our toddler had an allergic reaction while we were on vacation in Duck and we showed up just minutes before they closed. They saw us within a few moments, and everyone was very attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. He even got a popsicle on the way out. All around, this was a positive end to a scary experience.

I went to Urgent Care about three days after sustaining a bad sunburn that resulted in blistering. The staff was very attentive and understanding. Wait time was a bit long, but the waiting room was somewhat full, so the wait time was understandable. They got me back there in a timely manner.When I was taken back, the nurse I had went out of her way to make sure that she didn’t irritate my burns when taking blood pressure and was very compassionate despite my stupidity. (Please wear sunscreen, especially down here.)Anyway, I highly recommend if you’re in need of an urgent care.

Honestly one of the best experiences I have ever had with urgent care. We were in and out and our nurse and doctor were extremely sweet and patient with me. I have a fear of the doctor and they made my experience so easy. I’m very thankful!

Very poor customer service and will not give out wait times.

While visiting Outer Banks, we took our toddler son here because he had a high fever. Everyone we interacted with there was friendly and efficient. They had good covid protocols and got us in and out quickly. They were also helpful when we called the next day to ask a few follow up questions. Definitely recommend this urgent care practice!
