List of Shaddy K. Younan's Reviews
They never call back to answer the questionsThey ignoring the patient questionsNever again in this office
Terrible office staff. Waiting 45 minutes only to be told another 30+ more to go is crazy. Script authorization took over 4 weeks. While the doctor is great sadly I'd never go back.
Dr.shaddy
Dr. Younan is a phenomenal doctor with beautiful bedside manner. However the remainder of his staff is a nightmare. They quadruple book him, nurse never respond to pharmacy refills, and have people standing in the hallway during Covid for four hours to get into their appointment. It’s so unfortunate because I have love seeing him as a cardiologist.
Dr. Shaddy K. Younan is fantastic! (hence my high rating, because these ratings should really be a reflection of the actual physician, not a sub-standard office).Dr. Shaddy is extremely knowledgeable, keeps up to date on new treatment modalities and medication, and has an outstanding bedside manner (he really takes the time to listen to his patients, is extremely kind and concerned about patients well-being, and always has a warm smile available to calm concerned patients). I would give him a rating of 10 if I could. His office, however, is one of the worst-run and rudest doctor's offices I have come across. E.g., if you ask them to obtain insurance pre-authorization, they (according to my own experience) frequently seem to ask the patient to obtain all the information (incl. lab and treatment codes), even though most insurance companies don't give out such information to patients--only to doctor's offices. For that reason, I am way overdue for certain lab tests that would likely lead to a newer very high-priced medication that they also would have to obtain pre-authorization for. I'm only still there because Dr. Shaddy is fantastic. The wait time is another beast. There have been times when I had to wait for three hours, and only got in after three hours because I kept asking if they had forgotten about me. And more than once, after waiting for two hours, the doctor has been called for an emergency (not his fault), and I had to reschedule for another 2-3 hour wait appointment. At a minimum, they should offer free wifi services for patients, so that those who can work remotely can bring a laptop and work while waiting (I have been able to do so via a hotspot, which has made the wait at least bearable). The wait would also be a bit easier if they had A/C in the waiting room (the waiting room gets extremely hot and stuffy in the summer). It's sad that such an in-every-way-outstanding physician has his ratings so severely reduced by a seemingly dismal office staff. If it weren't for them, Dr. Younan would probably receive mostly 5-star reviews. It's the office staff alone that drags down his ratings. I don't see it changing either, as, apparently, his mother is the office manager, and he would probably be hard-pressed to let his own mother go (I'm not blaming her per se, but she *is* the office manager, which means that the ultimate patient-office experience responsibility falls on her).
It’s regretful how all the doctors are excellent but the potty mouth front desk staff nick who’s job is to help is always speaking so poorly and bad mouthing the office. The other two receptionists look lost and don’t know what to say while this lady is ranting about her job.If you don’t like your job quit but stop making the office and other staff look bad because of your dislike for your job. She’s been there so long but why if you loath your job. Dr younan do better for your business get rid of inadequate employees.
Save your time. Expect 2hrs wait time.
Pls run....................
The most knowledgeable, competent, confident, friendly doctor I have ever been around.
One thing I don't like b..I'm a new patient and just got out of the hospital..Got told to make appointment immediately..It's 4 days later and still no one in the office till Wednesday..You can't make any appointments!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
