He is the only physiologist that talks with his patients & listens like the good old days when they used to talk to you before prescribing meds! In addition he took my son off of 7 un needed meds that where prescribed by another physiologist who shouldn’t have a license. He’s the best!!!!

Dr Gefter is peer rated as top of his field. Dr Geftner is compassionate, experienced, diligent has integrity and is blunt about being truthful. I have found the Dr to be there for you if you’re in crisis. He has been associated with all New Jersey hospitals in one way or another. All related to Psychiatry. His available techniques to treat different, issues are amazing. In the sense that He is always 10 years ahead of what everyone else is doing. Before you read of it, The Doctor has investigated it and if promising is using the new technology at his office of many psychiatrists, therapists and other specialists to be able to help you in any way possible. I will say, Dr Geftner will spend time and if needed resources with you. Never looking at the clock on the wall. In my experiences with him he wants you to try to follow his advice, as he will not tolerate another who refuses to try it his way. I strongly suggest this Psychiatrist

Dr Gefter is the most uplifting,knowledgeable and compassionate psychiatrists ever! It is a pleasure having him as my dr as he surpasses many of the psychiatrists I have had in the past. You are definitely good hands with Dr Gefter!! Pat Sullivan

Dr. Gefter has been such a big help in my life. I'm very satisfied with our treatment plan. He's very personable, funny, but brutally honest when he needs to be which is a good thing!!! My only regret is that I didn't find him sooner. Also, lovely staff that works for him - everyone treats you so kindly & are super helpful & personable!

Dr. Gefter is a remarkable physician. He combines supreme knowledge and experience with superb bedside manners. Compassionate and proactive care is what his client receive. He was able to accurately diagnose and effectively treat many difficult, truly complicated psychiatric conditions. Dr. Gefter has traditional medical and psychiatric training, which is rare but highly desirable when treating the whole person. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Gefter is a wonderful companionate and extremely knowledgeable psychiatrist with traditional medical training (which is rare but necessary when treating the whole person). He has superb diagnostic skills, his recommendations are on target and very helpful.

This dr should not be practicing ! He put me on meds that made me start to feel suicidal . I texted him right away and he was so angry on the te t and never got back to me . Thank God I knew to get help elsewhere . Horrible angry man !
