The calls go unnoticed, the aide that they are sending are not being screened and want to come to the home and leave on clients time for their personal agenda. It is shameful that the elderly population is in your hands. I hope you can do better for the people that you serve
Been with Edison since 2021 and they randomly just decided to stop using MedFlyt for cases as of July 31st, which is the main reason why I preferred this agency! This is not progress for an agency! We are living in a digital age, so I don’t understand this decision. This was a bad decision if they’re not going to post cases at a similar rate on the HHA exchange app. The MedFlyt app was extremely helpful for me in finding cases because you could filter cases by distance, location, general basic information about the client and special notes about the patient. This was ideal and saved so much time. Why would you waste time calling random aids just for them to say no based on location hours, etc. In addition, coordinators call from random numbers that are not directly the Edison‘s main number and never send text messages or voicemails or emails so they’re strictly relying on voice calls. This has led to my phone flagging random numbers as spam. I don’t know what’s going on with Edison right now, but I don’t have a case and have not been able to take any Cases and no one is even properly communicating with me.

Worst ever home care center that I ever worked for.Rude reps,late with payments if they don't steal it from you.Now they have changed their name to "Happy Life" home care. >:( 4/25 update: Antes de cerrar sus oficinas Cupid Home Care, volvió a recortar mis pagos por trabajo realizado.Nadies contesta el telefono no devuelven las llamadas. So, siguen hurtando los sueldos de los home attendants. >:(
I have tried to give this agency a chance. I had a rep tell me during my onboarding I had the worst insurance proceeded to bash me and hung up. When I called to report the worker and they stated he is always like that. The agency has yet to pay my p.a her full work hours since January 23rd and I have called multiple times. They will call a million times to make sure the services stay active and running though. Once your on they no longer care
I am seriously thinking of changing my agency ! These ppl are giving me serious anxiety. I have been with Edison home care for about 4 yrs and I really don’t speak to my coordinator because everything is working fine, but the one time I need help with a situation I have to continuously keep calling over and over again ! calling supervisor, calling the coordinator. No one is returning my calls , It’s been almost 2 weeks that I’ve been waiting for an answer for my issue, I think they’re very unprofessional and not very organized so I need to take my business elsewhere . I don’t understand the The concept, everyone is getting paid by my insurance, but I’m not getting Adequate care. Isnt that enough to make you crash out? 🤔
Being a new employee has been exhausting! Getting the run around talking to people who show they don't want to be at their jobs! Not getting paid on time.... Not happy.
Employee is very professional, very outspoken and easy to understand and communicate. Highly recommend.
They don’t answer calls and don’t return calls. Horrible experience for me as a client. Edit: then they dropped me cause they said I missed too many times. The first time they said I missed I had called them to cancel a week in advance and left a message. The second time they said I missed the caregiver just didn’t show up. The third time I was dealing with sleep issues but it was the only time that was remotely my fault
I am will NEVER want anyone to go through what I have experienced with this agency!!. I am definitely looking to join another agency that really care about the aides just like the patients. They don’t return calls, they don’t answer calls it disgusting. I am over it
