List of David Salvage, M.D., Fapm's Reviews
Dr Salvage is a one in a million. He is the furthest thing from a pill pusher and truly does his all to understand the underlying conditions and provide a holistic treatment to me as a patient. He is the most open minded and progressive Shrink I have every been graced to spend time with and he is also a just a great guy with a good sense of humor and a great taste in music and art!
I've been a patient of Dr. Salvage for over three years. He is a true professional. He goes out of his way to provide excellent service. Dr. Salvage is a rarity in psychiatry. While he is a medical doctor, he has a highly humanistic manner and approach that makes you feel welcomed as soon as you walk into his office. I highly recommend him.
The most kind he helped me today when I needed the most and when I no one was accepting new patients because of COVID. We had a zoom meeting and he went further to know all my history to help me and also send my medicine to the pharmacy the same day . God put him in my way today no doubts
Dr. Salvage has literally saved the lives of 2 of my family members. He is so kind and caring and his knowledge of psychopharmacology is amazing. Depression and anxiety are difficult to manage long-term and his therapy and med selection has taken us all from some very dark places into a more balanced life filled with happiness. We still struggle, but with Dr. Salvage’s care, we have hope again.
"In my experience, psychiatrists tend to be bad, mediocre or good. Dr. Salvage, however, is better than good; he is GREAT. He is not only an excellent clinician but also a truly wonderful person. His understanding, concern, compassion and humanity shine through in all he does. He listens without judgment, he suggests options without requiring blind obedience, he hears his patients and responds thoughtfully to their concerns, and he is willing to admit that neither psychiatry nor psychopharmacology are exact sciences. He sees himself in a dialogue with his patients on a journey that can be unpredictable and challenging; one whose outcome can rarely be absolutely guaranteed but is so worth pursuing. He is also deeply sensitive to a patient's family. He understands the role they can play and encourages their participation when appropriate. He also realizes and responds to the stress a patient's illness can create within the family. Dr. Salvage is tireless in supporting his patients, building their self-awareness and crafting interventions that acknowledge the uniqueness of each one. ... and that is why he is GREAT."
I have been a patient of Dr. Salvage for 15 years and without his help and guidance I would not be the person I am today. I grew up in an abusive home and he has has given me the help to not only live with the abusive past, but to thrive despite of it. He is kind, gentle, compassionate, and very professional. I have referred him to many people all of whom have had positive experiences. I can not refer this man with higher regard. Jim M
The past few months have been very stressful for me. I found Dr. Salvage via Yelp and booked a telephone appointment with him. I can't express enough how impressed I have been with him. His demeanor, his ability to get to the heart of the issue and offer a plan for getting me out of my bad space, it's all good. Five stars!
He gets paid by the agencies to make misrepresentations about people who address issues. For $2,000 he goes to court to misrepresent and twist info.
David is a compassionate Psychiatrist, who deals with his patients with genuine empathy and professionalism.
Dr. Salvage has treated me for mild depression and ADHD. I first saw him in 2006 and have recommended him to friends over the years. Trained in psychoanalysis as well as psychiatry, he is kind and erudite, listens carefully, and has keen insights into his patient's blind spots. One comes away with the impression that he has a big heart and genuinely loves helping people.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
