From the minute I met Dr Oben I knew I was in the right place. He worked hard to figure out and repair my problem. He was always compassionate and understanding during my difficult times. I would recommend him and have.

I have never been treated this poorly by a physician. I was scolded for asking simple questions about my condition, as I did not know the answers. This is an attribute that is important for a physician dealing with such a sensitive area to have- he does not. He makes nothing easy to understand for a patient and I did not feel comfortable asking him questions out of fear of being scolded like a child. I also had a procedure done here, and it was done inadequately- I have to have it redone, but definitely through another practitioner. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this office, and if you would like to be treated like a person and not a nuisance, I suggest you look for another Doctor. Talking to the receptionist on the phone (as I called many times with questions for the doctor/nurse about my procedure, but was ignored) was the most positive experience through this practice. That really says something about the character of a practice.

If you are looking for a doctor with any sort of humanity, or how to deal with the anxieties of the unknown of your health, I advise you look elsewhere. I was scolded by him for asking simple questions about my condition, and my calls were dismissed by him for days. The office is dark and dingy, and he is about as friendly as a snake. The procedure that I had done was done inadequately therefore I have to go to another physician to get it done correctly. 0/5 stars for him- go somewhere else!

charged me $250 just to tell me to go get an x-ray after i was told he would do something to help me when he could have told me this over the phone, very short with me almost like he was pushing me out bc it was close to closing time, unconcerned about my pain and what i was going thru very displeased i was lied to and the fact i left work to be lied to is another story if i could i would not give any stars very fustrated and a complete waste of my time

Dr. Oben is very knowledgeable. He has a fantastic personality and sense of humor. Even when he has to give you the worst possible news, he does it in a way that puts you at ease and confident about the proposed treatment. He gives you all the options, the pros and cons of each and then let's you decide the best treatment for you with his guidance .As a side note the treatment chosen was a success.I recommend Dr. Oben highly.
