List of Kenneth Ackerman's Reviews
I have been waiting for two weeks for him to call me to go over my lab results. I have left numerous messages and have not heard a word from him! I have tried everything and he seems to ignore everything I leave. I think the whole office seems to not care about patients. They have terrible reviews for not getting back to patients,
Not good. After reading his reviews I am now very concerned about results of my tests. I’ve been waiting three days for him to get back to me with explanations of out of range results. I’m concerned that over the last couple of years when he has told me not to be concerned , maybe I should have worried because he seems to ignore his patients results and some of them have had bad consequences from his lack of concern. I now feel I have to go to another doctor to be retested and have a real conversation about the results..
the office is the worst run office in history. The dr himself will tell you this himself. I had an emergency and had gone to the emergency room and needed to see a cardiologist ASAP. i called his office and no one was answering nor were they answering when the cardiologist called. I sent many messages for this referral using my chart as dr ackerman told me to do They wrote back, instead of giving me the referral and told me to call the office. even though the knew I had gotten an emergency cardiologist appt and needed a referral. They are horrific- stay away
Dr. Ackerman has been our family doctor for years. We wouldn't trust anymore else to be our primary physician. He goes above and beyond to care for his patients. He is incredibly attentive a d always has time to answer your questions. I most appreciation his sunny disposition. Makes visiting the office a better experience. Highly recommend.
Was super rude and had to go elsewhere
SUPER RUDE MAN---UNCARING
I had the good fortune of being a patient of his for about a year before he went downhill. My wife is an EM physician and I’m in research. We met in school and both have a genuine passion for Medicine. I’m pretty familiar with the DSM-5 (used to diagnose disorders) and unfortunately Dr. Ackerman displayed all the signs of type 2 Bipolar. Although I’m not qualified to make a diagnosis on him, based on his sudden mood and demeanor shift we came to a very similar conclusion, and it’s unfortunate that the reviews are starting to reflect it.I will not say anything negative about Dr. Ackerman because he may be going through something that’s causing this behavior; however, it’s in everybody’s best interest if Patients with mild-serious ailments find an alternative provider. If you have no major health concerns and need a doctor for your checkups, blood tests, and other routine practices then having Dr. Ackerman as a provider shouldn’t be an issue.I hope Dr. Ackerman gets help and lives a meaningful and healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Ackerman is a great doctor that I went to for many years. However, his front desk is the worst I have ever experienced. Just to speak to a patient coordinator I have had to wait for well over an hour several times. After waiting for an hour and giving them referral information they never sent over the referral. A great doctor needs to surround himself with better support staff.

Poor bedside manners. Overbooked all my appointments for 16 years. I’m surprised I tolerated it this long. Today was the last straw when I had to sit in a room for an hour. When I complained to nurse practitioner that why do they overbook and meanwhile I was probably second or third appointment of the day Kenneth Ackerman came out and said there are 600,000 physicians in United States maybe you should find another doctor. Rude unprofessional maybe being a doctor is no longer for him and he takes it out on his patients. I think overbooking is just the way to rip off insurance companies by not giving attention to patients

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
