Person answering the phone and making appointments is rude and has no care for the patient. My mother is elderly and had to reschedule an appt because she was sick with the flu, was tested for covid, loss of her son 3 weeks earlier and was too weak to get to Her aPpt but called the day before and the day of to let her know she needed to reschedule. The person was rude to her for cancelling. So I called because I drive her to appts. Left a message to call me to reschedule. A few days went by and noone called to reschedule. So I called again - The front desk person said your mother told me she was coming in. I said she cant! She is very sick. I said can we reschedule? She said will she come in? The lady didnt care about anything with my mom, she just wanted to be argumentative. I said if she can physically get there she will. She had no care for my mother as a patient. Rude and Im not sure how a doctor can run her practice like that! If this is how patients are treated over the phone, how are they treated medically?
She is the most compassionate and caring doctor!
She caring and compassionate. She has knowledge of kidney failure and has kept my mom off dialysis for years
Best kidney Doctor
Worst attitude and personality Dr I came across in my life.
Who ever answers the phone is not helpful and rude.
Never got to meet Dr. However Nurse/Secretary that answers phone told me to check with my primary dr. to see if I could wait a month to come in. Ok, primary Doctor ok's this, and when I call RIGHT BACK, office was Closed! I called for almost 3 Weeks to make an appt. & every time the office was closed. I finally got through today and that Nurse/Secretary told me it would be another month and I should just go elsewhere! I told her I've been calling for 3 weeks & she told me she didn't believe me!
I never met the Doctor but the staff was very difficult. I called for an appointment as a new patient. The conversation was very cold and I was told that they would get back to me if they could take me ... if they wanted to take me on. I never heard from them. I called DaVita Clinic and got more Dr's names and took issue with them that I could not get an appointment with their No. 1 doctor. They got on the phone with them and they said Dr. Addagatla would be getting back to me very soon. I waited another week. Finally I called her office back. She made me feel like I was bothering her. We made an appointment ... about a month away. I went to my appointment and waited for about 45 minutes. When I asked how much longer, I was told it would be awhile. I left. Two and a half months down the drain. When did it become acceptable to book appointments and keep patients waiting for hours because they over booked.
