List of Bryan M Potthoff's Reviews
At 60, I've seen a lot of doctors. And Potthoff is among the most incompetent. His lack of interest is matched only by his lack of knowledge. * Runs blood tests but can't be bothered to examine the results. * When he does examines them he skims them or doesn't understand them. * Didn't detect Scoliosis on an X-rays. Usually, I can't read X-rays but when your spine looks like the letter 'S', u don't need to be an expert. * Evidently, he can't read x-rays either. He missed the osteoarthritis & spinal stenosis on my spine (info the radiologist noted in the same report) And my favorite...He keeps forgetting I'm a diabetic. Which might be understandable if I had multiple conditions, but I don't. I know that a good doctor is a rarity nowadays but Potthoff isn't competent enough to be in the mediocre category. NOTE: I don't write reviews unless I think it matters. So I really hope this helps someone.
I understand insurance restrictions only allow doctors so much time with each patient. But when you literally have to stop a doctor at the door because he doesn't take the time to go over everything you already wrote on your intake form (and mentioned when making the appointment) then you are dealing with someone who might be burnt out. I left feeling more like a burden to his lunch appointment than a repeat patient. Reading his other reviews, it seems when he was younger he had more commitment. It seems that has changed with time.

Awesome doctor easy going
Awesome doctor easy going
Dr. Potthoff listens and does his level best to help you. Hopefully he will be my last Dr. I ever have, I am very thankful for him.
Dr. P always takes time to talk to you carefully about your issues and why he might be suggesting a course of action. He is careful and thorough.
I’ve gone here numerous times with my kids, Dr Potthoff is awesome, the nurse(young African American guy) is SUPER nice. This has been my best experience at a doctors office for a long time. Some of these other reviews apparently have no concept of what laws are, pain meds are highly controlled, etc People want the doc to consult over the phone or prescribe without seeing the patient.....you are paying for a service, not free advice(that’s what the internet is for), Doctors that care about your health want you to come in so they can see how your therapies are currently working and see how adherent you are. That’s for your safety not their pocketbook.
Great doctor. Actually sits and listens to the issues you are having. Communication with him is great as well. He is the only doc ive seen that spends more than 5 minutes with you.
I would not recommend this practice or Dr. Pothoff. An appointment was made for a well visit with Dr. Potthoff. In the appointment, he did not complete a well visit or the "typical" questions or activities to check health.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
