Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine & Rehab does not have an adequate amount of comments to generate the sentiment analysis.
A friend of mine thought he was having a heart attack, so I took him to this location due to proximity and being part of the Memorial Healthcare system. The check in process was slow and without urgency on a potential heart attack, and when the nurse came out he looked he was on a causal stroll in the park. I understand being busy but there was no one else there. If you have a serious medical issue happening bring something to read because the tone there is they are not in a hurry. I could understand if my friend had no insurance or other but he has BC/BS and fully covered, I am stretching to find a reason for the poor service and give them the benefit of the doubt. I am hoping the service behind the door is better than my first impression of the check in process.
Care was excellent. Post care horrible. Two weeks later I received a bill from a collection agency in Ohio for $1718 just for the doctor. She spent 15 minutes with me. I called my insurance carrier and they said it is 100% covered--my copay is $0. They are processing the claim. BTW, the agreed amount to be paid by the insurance carrier is $178. I was billed ten times that amount! If I paid it, good luck ever receiving an refund. I expect this type of egregious billing from a Doc in the Box. I don't expect it from Memorial Herman. I have called and emailed Memorial Herman and received no response. Next time I have an emergency, I am going to another provider.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
