The gals that answer the phones are about as rude as anyone can get. They should be fired.

Absolutely impossible to get a referral to a specialist who is in my insurance network. Unable to contact the ER doctor who assisted me. The receptionist is rude and condescending.

The Speech and occupational Therapists dont have any knowledge about what are they suppose to be doingCompletely joke and wasting time.

Terrible service and rude check in. Ill avoid this place from now on.

I’m returning to review a year after my experience with them because I just cannot get over how incredibly rude the staff at Legacy Emanuel was when I was hospitalized from a severe seizure. They were annoyed that I had amnesia and kept forgetting where I was. I was TRAUMATIZED and trying to regain my consciousness. I didn’t know what was happening I felt ill. They took MRI’s and the MRI technician yelled at me because I said I needed to throw up. He just held an alcohol swab under my nose and put me back inside.Then Neurology made a very unwise decision to prescribe me with medication that severely exasperated my preexisting depression. He even warned me that could happen but that I “should be fine”. I’ll tell you what I was very not fine.Legacy Emanuel lacks compassion. They just want you out of their hospital bed ASAP.

The doctors here are incredibly dismissive.In response to the comment they left Sure I will reach out via email later on today. Just so people grasp the actual wrecklessness though I also want to summarize here.June 26 2021 I went to Emanuel Legacy ER in hopes of getting an MRI due to debilitating pain that was radiating down both legs and preventing me from being able to stand or walk properly. The soonest an imaging center could schedule me would be another month. Dr. Dan S. Friedman spoke with me for less than 10 minutes never even asked me to stand refused to give me pain medication did prescribe me a steroid that is known to negatively effect people with my medical history told me to my face that this was absolutely not emergent and sent me home. He also then entered inaccurate information into my medical visit summary.Turns out I have Cauda Equina Syndrome and may end up paralyzed andor incontinent at age 30. Do not trust this man.

Legacy Emanuel Medical Center I dont think you should hire employees like this Emily Smith. She doesnt look loke a person who should be in the medical field at all. Does she laugh at all of your covid patients too? Absolutely terrible

My second experience way better than my first but i came in with a better attitude and mind set and learned a few things over the years. They still dont underatand addiction and will do nothing to help you if your addicted to keep you there. If they feel like your a addict good luck getting meds for pain or sickness. Great staff other than that. Come to enjoy my stay.

The waiting room will blast the loud television. When I asked the front desk to turn it off they told me to “move somewhere else” because other patients want to watch TV. I had an IV in my arm and symptoms of sound sensitivity.I don’t think sick people in an emergency room want to hear Price Is Right and commercials while they’re waiting in pain. Just because one person asked for it not everyone should suffer.

2 days ago I got a call confirming that I had an appointment for genetic testing. I showed up today for said appointment and now theyre claiming no such appointment exists for me. So Ive now wasted a large chunk of my time in their waiting room to be given a phone number to call which nobody answers.
