My husband I have been to this ER multiple times in the last few years. We chose this location because it is the closest hospital to where we live.The last time I was there was for an infection from a cut on my hand. Upon entering the waiting room I noticed it was very crowded. Everyone was wearing masks they were even offering fresh masks to those who wanted them. The staff was very efficient and professional. Even during these chaotic times with covid and how overworked all healthcare workers are they still go above and beyond in treatment. There was even an issue that required security presence and it was handled swiftly.I ended up waiting for two hours because my injury wasnt life threatening. Its ok I expected it. I would hope that those in critical condition would be treated first.Most of the negative reviews on here come from people who do not understand how an ER is not always first come first serve. They treat those who need it first thats how an ER generally works.

Lets face it noone really likes having to go to a hospital unless you work there. I look at it like any other vacation destination when an inpatient. Comfortable clean quiet good food friendly staff. No excursions or tours no unexpected out of pocket expenses. Theyll even get you a free ride home if you dont have one.

Randall Childrens ED was great got us in within 5 minutes of checking in. Doc saw us before the nurse even finished our initial checkin in the room.Super happy yet again with the staff at Randall.

In late February 2021 my wife was diagnosed with Covid 19 and double pneumonia. Our local hospital did all they could do but finally told me they could do no more and she would not survive. After a few questions they told me there was a slight possibility that there was one last chance but not to get my hopes up because he wasn’t sure my wife would even be a candidate. I told him to try. That’s when he contacted Legacy and they contacted me. Within a couple hours the doctors and staff were flying from Portland to Southern Oregon and placing my wife on Ecmo. They bundled her up and flew her back to their hospital. My wife was then on two life support machines and placed in the ICU of ICU’s... NeuroTrauma ICU.While there she had to be in isolation till the symptoms of Covid were gone. I truly applaud the medical staff who bravely suited up and took excellent care of her. After isolation I was given the chance to come see her. This did wonders for both of us. It was after this first visit that she began to realize her dad and I were healthy and doing well. It’s now her turn to get better.The medical team took every opportunity to treat her and I as royalty. I came to visit on particular day and nurse Quinn was in her room with his guitar playing and singing songs to her. I sat next to her and we had our own mini concert for at least 5 songs Not only did they care for her physically but mentally and emotionally as well.One of my favorite things this hospital does is the case worker contacts family and the does weekly conference calls that includes the nurses doctors and other staff. Questions are answered and they try to ask questions to get to know the patient as well as possible so they can care for them as a person and not just a body in room number blah blah blah. You’re encouraged to visit call daily and consistently check in on how your loved one is doing.A HUGE thank you to every single person employed there. No matter your title of Doctor or house keeper your presence and work you perform all works together for the safety health and wellbeing of all whom you care for.I was told my wife could be there up to 6 months before transferring to other facilities to help her further her rehabilitation and health. It was nowhere near that timeframe before she was well enough to transfer to Vibra Specialty Hospital where they continued the great care and sent her home in April 12th.I’m so impressed with both hospitals and their staff. My son has been hospitalized here due to trauma. The staff here have been very pleasant. From the attendants at the front door to the catering associates that delivers his meal trays. Always greeted with a warm smile. He has received excellent nursing and medical care. Nurses and physicians have been excellent in explaining the plan of care every step of the way. I am so grateful that he was brought to this facility for his treatment.
