The staff is incredibly dedicated, and it is very heart warming to see. It is clear this community is more than just a place to live, its a home filled with love and support.

It is a clean, secure and welcoming place. The staff are very kind and caring to the residents. The food is good, and there are daily activities to keep the residents engaged and active. I know this is the best possible place for my mom.

My family and I took a chance on Brookdale for my aunt in March of 2021. We certainly are glad we did! She seems to be thriving in that atmosphere. She never has any complaints about anything. The caregivers have been wonderful and always alerted me to any problems or changes. Ashley Holloway, the Activities Director, is such a kind, caring person who pays attention to detail and really engages with my aunt and with all her patients. Brookdale has turned out to be the perfect solution for my aunt!

Very unprofessional. Several of the people I spoke with were very nice. I was directed by multiple employees to speak with the executive director, but she hung up on me multiple times while trying to introduce myself. I thought the first time might have been on accident but the third time seems intentional. As a reply to their reply: I'm not and never have been a marketing student. I was not disconnected from any other people I spoke with that day at the facility. Additionally several months later and not once did they actually try to contact me as their reply stated.

Always clean looking and smelling. Lots of activity and entertainment for the residents and some even have their beloved pets with them

When you are dealing with Dementia it's hard enough but then having to find the right place for your mom adds more stress. But when you find Brookdale Columbia's loving staff members that truly care about your family member you are trying to place and they take them in as their own....after a while they become your family too! My mom has been there now for two years and loves it. But more than that - the staff members of Brookdale really care about her.
