Right At Home's Online Review Report Card

The amazing team at Right at Home placed a caregiver in my home in July, 2024 and my health has improved significantly. Working with Right at Home has been an incredibly positive experience and I highly recommend them.

Misty L. Has taken care of my dad a few hours the past 2 days and she has exceeded any expectations I had. She is kind, professional and all around great at her job. She had provided the best care for my father, she’s also helped my mother with tasks around the home that have been neglected since my father has been home on hospice. I am caregiver for my 84 year old friend. He has many health issues and in a wheelchair. I was going to be out of town for 5 days. I contacted Right at Home to watch him while I was gone. Dawn Callis Community Liaison came to talk to us the week before. I was impressed with how caring she seemed and she assured us that they would take good care of Larry and his needs. So I left for my trip trusting Right at Home thinking Larry was safe. Then it all went wrong. Right at home was supposed to contact me or my children about anything that was wrong. Well they never once did. They put my elderly friend in danger every day. The first night no one showed up to stay with him leaving an 84 yr old fall risk alone all night. Their excuse "well things fall through the cracks". Then he was allowed to sleep in a chair two nights he could have slid out of and his legs swell. One morning they left at ten a.m. and left him in bed with no breakfast, medication reminders, safe bathroom trip, his dog uncared for, etc. The HVC unit stopped cooling one day and it was 101degrees in his house. no one called me. My daughter found out and my son took a window air conditioner over and put in. Right at Home knew Larry was not to walk without his walker and someone following with a wheelchair. They allowed him to go in the garage and fall, the fire department had to be called to get him up. Right at Home was to assist with baths, activities, light housekeeping, etc. None of this was done. I came back to find Larry had not had a bath for 5 days and was in a soiled Depends. I was not notified of any of Right at Homes incompetence. I found out through my daughter and when I got back. Right at Home put an 84 year old man at risk! And they charged full price for their mess! Very expensive and a terrible service! I am considering a lawyer. I would never recommend them and would give a 0 if I could!

We have really appreciated Right at Home for several reasons: (1) There is ALWAYS someone on the team available to talk, whether it's a scheduling issue or a need that has just popped up (2) ...and they have ALWAYS made a carer available, even when the requirement was last-minute (3) the carers themselves have been stellar: professional, kind, and un-intrusive but helpful (4) it's a professional operation and they make the process for signing up and requesting help straightforward.

This company has shown great care in providing aide service and answering any questions or concerns on a timely manner. BeLinda Cameron has now been with us for three years and has been committed to faithfully caring for my disabled daughter . I would recommend this company to anyone .

We had a great experience with Right at Home providing care for my mother. The caregivers were kind, competent and always willing to do what ever was necessary to meet my mothers needs and keep her comfortable over the last 3 years. I can thank them enough.
