A very nice place with great leadership and team. Care has a good reputation in our area.
The staff here were compassionate and very helpful when we came to tour and move mom for the very first time to assisted living. The community is clean and feels very peaceful. The unfortunate part of our story is that my mom should never have been assessed at Assisted Living status. She should have gone directly to memory care. I believe the motive was to give her the most independence possible, but it became a nightmare for our family. Within a couple of weeks my mom was having multiple issues with receiving care and with other residents who did not have dementia. She was in the wrong community ... others didn't understand her or know how to deal with her delusions and hallucinations. The staff told us that we had to take mom to geriatric psychiatric facility (which was like an insane asylum prison, and that absolutely devastated me). She was not allowed to come back to her room there after spending 20 days being injected with all sorts of medications that traumatized her and me. There was no one really managing this journey for us as a family or making sure the goals were clear for her. I finally had to demand she be released because I think they would have kept her there indefinitely. She kept trying to escape, which I don't blame her at all. My mom suffered immensely because she was placed incorrectly. Once we finally got mom out and found another place for her to live (the Lantern in Franklin which was horrible), they neglected to send one of my mom's most-needed medications to her so she went without them for two weeks. My advice to anyone choosing to place a parent dealing with dementia of any kind is to put them directly into memory care if you can. Assisted Living was a devastating mistake for us. My mom recently passed away, 10 months after her initial admission to Morning Pointe Spring Hill, and it absolutely grieves me to think of what her first 2 months leaving her home was like because of one wrong decision.
Recently we had to make some very important decisions about caring for our mother. We did some research and settled on Morning Pointe in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Decisions like this are challenging as you want the best for your loved one. After a few months of being involved with Morning Pointe, I can honestly say I don’t believe we could have found a better place for her. The staff are nothing short of amazing as they have not only assisted our mom with her transition into the community that exists there but they have been a true blessing to our family. I would name specific staff members but honestly I would leave someone out and they are all outstanding. They have a challenging job as they work with the residents each day and yet they exemplify what everyone should want for their family members. We are grateful for the care our mother is receiving and so appreciate the people who make Morning Pointe such a wonderfully place
The staff and management team at Morning Pointe of Spring Hill (TN) have set a standard of care that I'm not sure I have ever experienced. From our very first visit in February or March of 2023 to the most recent event when they let us know it was time for my family member to move to the Lantern for her extended care. Heather McCarl, Community Relations Director, was our guide as we muddled the way through the original decision process if the time was right for my sister and her husband to move from a private home to a senior living community. She went over pros and cons of the move to ensure no one felt pressured but thoroughly understood the processes, and monthly expenses. She also walked us through the benefits, both financial and safety. Heather remains a very important go to person for our family. Alicia Armstrong, the Executive Director, has always communicated with us with a what can I do to help attitude. Especially in a recent situation where my sister had reached the point that immediate transfer to the Lantern was needed. She sets a strong example for staff, residents, and visitors on how to be a truly caring individual. Others we worked with over the last 15 months have certainly been in their positions for more than their knowledge of their jobs, but for the truly caring and happy spirit that shines from their smiles, body language, and willingness to help everyone. This spirt of serving also shines from the front reception staff who never fail to offer a smile and greeting or nod even when involved with someone else. I don't want to mention too many names as I know I would miss someone, but I can say I have never seen a rude or unhappy staff person. The building is clean and well kept, and the grounds are like being in a park. Oh, the food... my goodness, I have had opportunity to join family for lunch and dinner and it is like eating in your favorite restaurant, yummy delicious. Look forward to visiting family at Morning Pointe for years to come... as many years as God graces us to be there as a resident or visitor. I highly recommend Morning Pointe of Spring Hill if you are searching for a home for yourself or family. They have a great activities calendar with BINGO, music, worship, exercise, and much much more.
What a beautiful place! Much nicer than all the other places we visited. Heather is very helpful and kind. Workers here seem happy and caring to the residents. Residents seem very happy as well. Feel good about having my mom there.
Placing mom in an assisted living facility was a very nerve wracking experience. We all want the best for our elderly parents. When we found Morning Pointe of Spring Hill, it was like a burden was lifted off our shoulders. Alicia, Heather, and the rest of the staff have been so easy to work with. They let you know how “we are a team” when it comes to meeting the needs of my mom, and of us. The staff does a wonderful job of communication, and make the residents feel special. It has been a pleasure working with the staff to keep mom healthy and happy.
Our mother at age 98 was only at Morning Pointe for two weeks prior to her passing. She went there totally pleased with that choice thinking that would be her new home. None of us realized at the time it would be a brief stay that would prepare her for her “ permanent “ home with God. The staff and leadership were remarkable!! All of them without exception. A beautiful facility full of beautiful and genuinely caring people. They were instrumental in helping us personally prepare for saying goodbye to a beautiful mother and best friend. If my Mom’s stay had been more long term, I know we would have been forever singing their praises from that perspective. Every day the staff are touching lives and leaving those receiving that touch better for it. We are so grateful for God leading us to Morning Pointe Spring Hill Tennessee. My dad moved to Morning Pointe of Spring Hill in 2022. When dad first arrived there, he was very self sufficient. However, as time went by, he needed more and more assistance. The nurses/caregivers at MP always kept a close eye on my dad, and treated him with kindness and respect. My precious dad recently passed away on 2/04/24. It brought me a great sense of comfort to know that he was loved so well at Morning Pointe. I could not have asked for anything more!
Morning point is a fantastic amazing facility they have taken such good care of my mom for the last year. Highly recommend if you would need 24-hour memory care for your loved one this place is hands down above and beyond my expectations. From the reception staff to the nurses and the caretakers all of which are exceptional at what they do.
The staff at Morning Pointe of Spring Hill are kind and compassionate. They truly care about the residents and treat them with respect.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
