Premier Family Physicians's Online Review Report Card

I've been going to PFP for years. Dr. Ondash is the best. Took me time to find a MD that actually listened and cared about me as a person. Any chance I get I refer people here. All the support staff I have met, have been great. Laura, the phlebotomist, is amazing. Had to do blookwork and I didn't even feel the needle stick. She is a pro!

If you care about your health, your life, your organs anything. Do not go to this practice. I have seen 3 different doctors/staff at this location. Listen to your body and demand the right testing images etc... they will do everything not to request an CT or MRI. They will make you think you have indigestion!

If you want to gamble with your health, life and your financial situation just avoid this place like the plague. They will disregard any of your concerns and blatantly avoid proper diagnosing.

My husband called in March to schedule an appointment with his primary care doctor and they were only able to schedule him in August (!) - which he did. The week of the appointment they called him because "the doctor is not going to be in that week" and wanted to reschedule him for October. Unacceptable. My daughter needed an appointment. I scheduled it online for Monday. They called me that day and had to cancel, because she was "not an established patient" because she has not been to the office since a couple years. That makes sense to me. However, it didn't make sense to me that they could not see her that day. "We don't have any appointments available", they said. "How about the 3:00 pm spot she already had?", I wondered. I was very frustrated, as we had been patients since 15 years. Shake head, 15 years! I told her that it seems to me that she did not care about my daughter. She had no answer to that... I asked to talk to a supervisor; she was in a business meeting. She will call me back. Apparently that meeting has been going on since 22 days now - that poor lady... But in all seriousness: we won't be back after 15 years. This is very disappointing.

There are some really good doctors in this practice, but getting in to see your actual MD is next to impossible.

Dr. Sadhana Patel did not know the difference between ADHD Hyperactive versus ADHD Inattentive. She kept doubting my symptoms assuming ADHD is only Hyperactive and not realizing there is also an Inattentive predominant type. I shared information with her (eg Sluggish Cognitive Tempo, "inattentive vs hyperactive", etc). Communication with her abruptly stopped as she retired. 10 years later, I can say she's been one of the many obstacles to improving my well-being. There's nothing like working with a doctor who should know more than you and doesn't believe you. Doctors confident in their ignorance.

I've been seeing Dr. Ondash for several years and he is the best doctor I've ever received care from and am happy to have him as my primary physician. He listens carefully and wholeheartedly, provides relavent feedback and care, is genuine in his communication, is very professional, takes my concerns seriously, and never makes me feel rushed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ondash for several years. There are things I like about Premier Family Physicians and things I don't like. The negatives are the patient portal can be a little difficult to navigate at times and I don't always get timely responses to messages on the patient portal but frankly that is technology. The positive things have far outweighed the good. I have never called the office with a question that they didn't try to get me an honest and respectful answer. They have always tried to get me in when I was sick and always been flexible to schedule for regular appointments. The fact that I can get the blood work done in the office is a huge positive as well. I am in a mobility scooter and the less locations is a huge positive for me. Then there is Dr. Ondash. He cares about his patients. Let me repeat that. He truly cares about his patients. I know he wants the best for me and for my family. He hears your concerns, There have been times I have been frustrated as there appears to be no end in site of a medical issue or I have felt not enough was being done to fix it only to find out that the least restrictive approach was the better approach for my health. It wasn't him listening it had been me not listening and asking enough questions. However when I did ask the questions the answers were given, and the dialogue led to medical care that was positive for me. So for me that is worth five stars.

Whoever the people are who are answering your phones need some serious performance review or termination. At least two different women who answered my partners phone calls about a simple task of refilling a very important medication have been nothing but rude and unhelpful. The pharmacy has sent multiple prescription requests and have never seen a doctor's office so inept and unresponsive to these requests. Judging by other reviews, my partner's experience isn't unique. Either re train these people on the phone or better yet fire them. They are not good for you practice.

This exchanged happened a year ago. These people charged me $112 for a 5 minute phone call I was already entitled to receive. I had gotten some test results back. I was told by the doctor he would CALL me when they were ready. I had not heard from anyone for over two weeks. I called (several times) and was told by one of the nurses they couldn't discuss the results with me but the doctor (Dr. Jarzambeck) would call me back. Instead, a nurse called me back, told me the results and said if I had questions I had to make an appointment with the doctor because he was "busy". As a full time employee, (without health insurance) I made it clear I was unable to visit the office again (let alone afford it) and that I had already been told by the doctor and a nurse that he was to call me. Instead they insisted I needed to make a telehealth appointment and proceeded to charge me $112 (that I did not have) so the doctor could tell me information I was already entitled to hear over the phone but I suppose I wasn't of enough concern to call back without tacking on an unnecessary bill. The time on the call was not even 10 minutes and he simply repeated information he had cited before.
