I have been seeing him for over 15 years. All of his staff are absolutely wonderful, they are caring and very patient when it comes to getting me checked in and taking vitals. With doctor Basu he spends the time needed with me and does not rush me out the door like some other doctors do. If you are looking for a good rematologist then he is the one to go to

Dr Basu is an excellent doctor. He is very thorough and keeps on top of my blood work to make sure none of the meds he gives me is ruining my other organs. I have had long wait times but most of it was during covid. I have been seeing him for 5 years. He has never overcharged me. He listens and is very caring. I highly recommend him.

Went 2x waited 4hrs each time. Only to see him for 10minutes. Never even requested my test results from my neurologist after 4months. I WILL NEVER WASTE MY TIME WITH HIM. He is uncaring and spent his whole time pounding into his keyboard after making me wait for 4HOURS!!!

He is horrible

The dr is a nice man I can NOT say the same for his office staff in particular the receptionist. She is a difficult personality, and if you try to talk clearly, she says you are yelling. This type of person runs a doctors reputation.

Dr. Basu took blood test. Did NOT inform me that lab he sent test to was out of network. Got a bill for 2 THOUSAND DOLLARS for blood test today for that blood test! I live 3 minutes from Quest Diagnostics and could have got it done for FREE. Will NOT BE BACK!

I have been a patient of Dr Basu’s for many years and wouldn’t change doctors ever! He has been my lifesaver! I won’t lie I have had some issues in the past with some of his staff but that was in the past! The wait time used to be way to long but has gotten so much better! Dr Basu listens to my concerns always! If he can order a tests for an issue I am having he will before sending me to another specialist! All of my medications come from him and he and my PCP and all other drs stay in contact with each other! I can’t imagine ever having to see another Dr!

My name is Danielle Woodall and I have been a patient of Dr Basu for 14 years now. After suffering with chronic pain since I was 18 years, I finally received a diagnosis and started treatment, thanks to Dr Basu. He is an amazing Doctor and I trust him.

Really disappointed to find, after going and seeing Dr. Basu—who is truly lovely—paying my copay, having all the testing, that all of the other reviews on here are completely true. The staff at Dr. Basu’s Office are not only rude, unprofessional, and unethical, if you have the audacity to protest their behavior they will make sure no one calls you back, ever. I had my follow up appointment scheduled this week to go over my blood work, I showed up 20 minutes early, was told by Leslie that she was having trouble with my insurance the day prior to my appointment. When I asked her why she let me drive all the way out to Colleyville without letting me know, she rudely told me that it’s not her responsibility. I asked her to have Sophie call me, the office manager, and of course that call never came. I call back and every time it’s Leslie telling me she’ll have the office manager call me, but of course she isn’t passing along the message because the reason for my calls is to file a complaint about her own conduct. I tried to call again after the gatekeeper had left today and was told there’s no way to leave a voicemail for Dr. Basu or Sophie. I’m going to have to file a complaint with the medical board and send a certified letter just to get my blood work interpreted. It’s really sad to know that such a capable doctor has a persistent pattern of poor staff issues leading to his bad reviews and lack of repeat patients.

I called this doctor to make an appointment. Even though I have an EPO and they are in network they insisted I get a referral. I called to schedule and was basically told to wait my turn. I was told they had a stack of referals to call and schedule and even though they had mine in hand and I was calling I would have to wait for them to call me. I tried to explain I was off at that time and would be unavailable by phone until my next day off because of work rules and they didn't care. They told me I had to wait for a call and if I was lucky, they would schedule me for sometime in September. It is the beginning of August. My insurance does not have another rheumatologist in network. I have missed so much work for this issue and would like answers after 4 years of being sick!
