Heritage Rheumatology And Arthritis Care's Online Review Report Card

Horrible patient care long wait time rude staff the only nice thing I can say is Dr Basu is nice and attentive and listens to you. However I'm actively looking for a new rheumatologist due to his PA being rude and passive aggressive.

If you read this, I'm not sure where the "long wait" or "unpleasant staff" comes from because that's just not so! We rarely wait more than 20 minutes, and everyone is kind, namely Dr. Basu. He was an absolute Godsend for my family. Our son claimed of pain no one could find for eight long years. High school was ruined because it. One day, at another urgent care clinic, some wonderful nurse recommended Dr. Basu and he discovered Fibromyalgia. The man was an angel for us. He was SO thorough, thoughtful, caring, and assured our son he was only going to feel better from here. Three months later, we have our son back. Thank you for Dr. Basu AND his wonderful team! This review isn't nearly gratitude enough.

Not a patient, family member is. The lady at the front desk had a major attitude and was extremely disrespectful to my loved one. They were impatient and couldn’t be bothered to help correct an issue with the check in procedure. The patients at this clinic have arthritis…some have mobility issues that might slow them. I can’t believe they have front staff that represent them like this. I came to leave a comment and see that for years they have received complaints about this. Maybe this office should actually read the comments and do something to correct this issue.

Dr. Basu and Natalie are great. They take time to listen, ask questions and are very competent. I wish all physicians were like them. I have received the needed treatment to manage my arthritis and fibromyalgia.

Been using this same doctor for 10 years and would not change if given the opportunity. He is very patient with those of us that may have questions and willing to answer anything you might need

If I could rate at less than 1 star, I would. The staff is one hundred percent incompetent, and everyone should be fired, because they all lack people skills and have no business "providing" any kind of care to ANYONE. I will be looking elsewhere for another rheumatologist. An entity is only as strong as the weakest link, and the entire staff is the WEAKEST LINK.

I started seeing Dr Basu a few years ago when diagnosed with autoimmune disease. Dr Basu is very kind and competent. However his office staff has proved time and time again to be both incompetent and rude. The majority if the time there is some sort of clerical error with my appointment. They offer no apology, no empathy and no resolution. I have to repeatedly work for any kind of communication. This has interfered with my medication schedule. I am certain that Dr Basu is busy taking care of patients and has no idea that his office staff is representing him so poorly. It is very unfortunate because no doubt there are many patients who leave his practice as a result of their poor treatment.

I've had a very good experience with Heritage Rheumatology. I've been a patient there for a few years it has taken a long time to see a Doctor and you wait in the waiting room for a long time but I the doctors really listen to your complaints and try to get you better. I saw 2 other rheumatologist before seeing them and they didn't help out at all and just told me that I was fine. The Doctors at Heritage actually scheduled several MRIs, X rays and Blood work and found that I had arthritis in most of my major joints I'm in my early 30's. They have got me on medication that works at reducing my pain and helps me so much at falling asleep and staying a sleep. They have new frond desk people and they are great the other people weren't very friendly. I would defiantly recommend seeing Dr Basu or Megan Lane its defiantly worth the wait

I was referred by my primary doctor who said I should call if I don't hear back after a week, so I did. They said at that point it would be about a 3 month wait to be seen as a new patient. They called me a week later and were able to fit me in for the following week. Doctor is great. I have lab work done to start to figure out what the problem is. I go to get my results, driving for more than 30 minutes to get there and I was removed from the schedule because I hit traffic. Traffic, had I known about when I left my house, I wouldn't have even bothered with. The office staff don't care about you. I wasted 3 hours of my life because I waited there for almost an hour for them to give me my blood work numbers and another hour driving home because by this point it was 4 pm on a Friday. Don't be like me and waste your time here.

The 3 stars is because Megan Lane and nurse Mary are awesome. If they leave so will I because no one else cares or tries to help.
