Heritage Rheumatology and Arthritis Care

If you read this, I'm not sure where the "long wait" or "unpleasant staff" comes from because that's just not so! We rarely wait more than 20 minutes, and everyone is kind, namely Dr. Basu. He was an absolute Godsend for my family. Our son claimed of pain no one could find for eight long years. High school was ruined because it. One day, at another urgent care clinic, some wonderful nurse recommended Dr. Basu and he discovered Fibromyalgia. The man was an angel for us. He was SO thorough, thoughtful, caring, and assured our son he was only going to feel better from here. Three months later, we have our son back. Thank you for Dr. Basu AND his wonderful team! This review isn't nearly gratitude enough.

Dr. Basu and Natalie are great. They take time to listen, ask questions and are very competent. I wish all physicians were like them. I have received the needed treatment to manage my arthritis and fibromyalgia.

Been using this same doctor for 10 years and would not change if given the opportunity. He is very patient with those of us that may have questions and willing to answer anything you might need

I've had a very good experience with Heritage Rheumatology. I've been a patient there for a few years it has taken a long time to see a Doctor and you wait in the waiting room for a long time but I the doctors really listen to your complaints and try to get you better. I saw 2 other rheumatologist before seeing them and they didn't help out at all and just told me that I was fine. The Doctors at Heritage actually scheduled several MRIs, X rays and Blood work and found that I had arthritis in most of my major joints I'm in my early 30's. They have got me on medication that works at reducing my pain and helps me so much at falling asleep and staying a sleep. They have new frond desk people and they are great the other people weren't very friendly. I would defiantly recommend seeing Dr Basu or Megan Lane its defiantly worth the wait

Dr. Basu takes the time to listen to you and actually hears what you say before deciding on a course of treatment. He listens everytime you see him. He does the necessary testing as well. I highly recommend this doctor.

Fantastic Doctor. Listens to everything you say, takes time with each patient and does appropriate diagnostic tests to find out what you have. He is the first Doctor Who is ever discovered all of the autoimmune diseases and arthritis and fibromyalgia Etc that I have I would recommend him highly to any person. He also has an outstanding nurse practitioner who will also sit and listen and help any way she can. Again I highly recommend this Dr

Megan Lane is who I primarily see for Fibromyalgia. I feel blessed to have her part of my life. She has helped me tremendously! With her help we work out and eliminate all the other things happening to my body causing the Fibro to flare. She's fantastic. Her direct person is just fantastic. I only stay with them because they truly listen and actually care. They are the best in all my experience in Texas!

I've been a patient of Dr. Basu for about 2 years, give or take a week or two. I'm very pleased with how he has handled my case and his manner of keeping me in the loop about what he's thinking where my treatments have been concerned. He has left no option off the table, allowing my input to be as much a part of it as he can. As to the only other review I've read here, if you're're not patient enough to permit the doctor time to be as thorough with each patient as I'd hope you would want him to be with you, then go on ahead & give your co-pays to some doc who's more concerned with the bottom line ($$$). As for me, I choose to be treated like a person rather than a payday. Dr. Basu, thank you and your staff for treating me so well.

The 3 stars is because Megan Lane and nurse Mary are awesome. If they leave so will I because no one else cares or tries to help.

I started seeing Dr Basu a few years ago when diagnosed with autoimmune disease. Dr Basu is very kind and competent. However his office staff has proved time and time again to be both incompetent and rude. The majority if the time there is some sort of clerical error with my appointment. They offer no apology, no empathy and no resolution. I have to repeatedly work for any kind of communication. This has interfered with my medication schedule. I am certain that Dr Basu is busy taking care of patients and has no idea that his office staff is representing him so poorly. It is very unfortunate because no doubt there are many patients who leave his practice as a result of their poor treatment.
