The staff was awesome, and the facility was very clean. I was stupefied to see the $26,000 bill for a few stitches though!
I found the bed side manner here unacceptable. To start, the doctor, Dr. Angela Lewis Traylor was extremely irritable upon meeting us at 2 am in the emergency room. Rather than introduce herself and ask about why we were there she stormed into the room and demanded to know what we wanted. Following a terse exchange with the doctor she told me that I was unable to control my children— a sick crying toddler and a newborn baby. She looked in my infants ears and complained that they were dirty. Hours later we went to another ER and were told our daughter had an ear infection. Dr. Traylor completely missed this. She wanted to prescribe steroids to my daughter. I asked her to write the name of the medication down so that I could look it up. She appeared very annoyed by my request. When I looked it up it said it was only to be given to ages 4 and up. My daughter is 2. The male nurse who helped us and the front desk gal were kind and helpful, but doctor Traylor was completely out of line insulting us and prescribing medications that were dangerous to a child my daughter’s age.
The doctor and nurse were great and very informative. Adrian, the front desk attendee, is very professional. He listened to our concern and found a solution.
As soon as the doctor walked in she KNEW my pinky toe was broken. I would come back again if I absolutely needed to. Thank you to the Dr and nurse who took care of me.
This place was amazing! Got checked in and looked at immediately and the staff and doctor were very attentive and made sure to check everything! Definitely recommend coming here! I left feeling a whole lot better! Thank you so much!
We took our 5 month old in and ultimately received medical care she needed but seemed to be via lots of guesswork and with a doctor that had terrible bedside manner - making threats and using scare tactics to do what she came to in the moment. The nurse was great and listened more than the doctor. We were pushed/scared into taking a medical transport to a hospital for continued care where we gladly would have driven. No work was done to monitor or care for our baby as stressed by the doctor - just a $2,000 ride. We were released shortly after arriving at the hospital which is credit to the care received (executed by the nurse) but night and day difference to the care, patience, and engagement with the hospital doctors versus this specific doctor. It was a scary and confusing time for us. I would not return here for ER or urgent care needs.
Verify friendly and attentive staff.
Clear Creek Emergency Room is a great place to come to if you have an emergency or urgent care that needs attention. From the Dr.’s all of the way to the front desk reception, you are treated like family with love, care, and compassion! Happy Nurses Week and Medical Week to the entire staff in League City at the CLEAR CREEK EMERGENCY ROOM! You ALL ROCK!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
