James A Richardson does not have an adequate amount of comments to generate the sentiment analysis.
Dr. Richardson is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable; he truly cares for his patients. He comes into the exam room, sits down and listens to you, and answers all your questions. I have never felt rushed when Im with him. I called and left a message for him to call me back and he called back in a timely manner. His staff has always treated me with courtesy and respect. I recommend Dr. Richardson very highly and am happy hes my cardiologist.
He is very personable and gives you the information you need. Doesn’t try to push a bunch of drugs on the patient all at once, but discusses your choices and care that should be considered.
I was very impressed with Dr. Richardson, Ashley and all the office staff who bent over backwards to help me get an appt. to take a test needed for work. The wait time for the results was reduced due to a time limit I had. If I ever really need urgent heart care, he will be my doctor. The wait time may be a little longer than I am used to, but seemed very well organized so everyone was called and tended to. I went in several times to inquire and watched. Thank you all!
No wait time . Great staff .
Best doctor I've ever had. I miss him alot since moving to michigan.
Have been a patient for many years and have always been impressed with the personal interest, care, and follow up. Absolutely the best Doctor I have ever had.
Dr. Richardson was my husbands Doctor for over 25 years. He saw him through many medical emergencys.
Dr. Richardson is very caring and knowledgeable. He listens to you and is interested in your well-being. I recommend him highly.
Dr. Richardson said I needed a pacemaker and would have his office contact me to schedule the procedure. No one contacted me. Whenever I called them I had to leave a message. They would call me and ask what I needed. I would tell them and they would say they would have someone call me. I did this for 3 weeks and they finally referred me to the surgeon that would implant the pacemaker. His office said it would be 6 weeks before the surgeon could see me and then more than a month before the surgery could be done. Instead I went to another cardiologist (Dr. David Levine) and had the pacemaker implanted within the week.
I’m 51 years old, and never have I EVER experienced the audacity that I experienced today. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment to ensure I had time to take care of paperwork, payment, etc. I was called back about 15 minutes after my appointment time, which I feel is very reasonable, and vitals were taken by two wonderful staff members who were very friendly and caring. I was then taken to a different room after my vitals were taken (still not sure why) only to wait FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!!! Seriously???!!!!!! Dr. Richardson thinks THAT LITTLE of MY time that he crams me in a room for that long. Would I have still been seen had I arrived that late. ABSOLUTELY NOT because the patient must be considerate of the doctors schedule. REALLY???!!!!! Then I walk out ofMy room and go to the checkout counter and let them know I need my copay refunded, and offer my card for it to be ran. The young lady at the desk, who again was very sweet and empathetic, apologized numerous times and said she didn’t need my card and that I would be refunded. It’s almost like she had been through that before, sadly enough.I’ve been a patient of Dr. Richardson for a few years now and each visit has been similar, but never to this extent. I will NEVER waste my time with that group or that Dr again. It has to be one of the most unprofessional, disrespectful and inconsiderate medical situations I have ever been a part of. My time, and ALL of your patients time, is worth more than you give credit for Dr. Richardson. If you’re so hard up for money that you ha e to double book then try slowing down and regaining your “professional “ reputation as a considerate doctor.P.S. I would probably still be waiting!Sad practice Dr Richardson. Very sad.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
