Those negative reviews were written as a joke by a 'friend' of Dr. Lippas. I find it so malicious and sad that whoever his 'friend' is had the time to be so rude........not funny, not amusing and really just so sad............

There are very, very few doctors such as Dr. Lippas. I had a retina disattaching on a a Saturday night. I called the office phone, left a message, and Dr. Lippas called me back in 5 minutes. He asked about my vision and told me to come in to his office the next morning at 9:00 a m. This was a Sunday morning and he opened his office just for me. He did surgery without having the procedure approved by the insurance company. He said I had to have it whether or not the insurance would pay. D. Lippas then gave me his cell number and told me to call him if there were problems. There are very few doctors who would do an expensive surgery without knowing they would be paid. That is how much this doctor cares. He will be my eye doctor for life!

Dr. Lippas CARES about his patients and is an excellent doctor. I had to have emergency laser surgery to correct a retina that was disattaching on a Sunday morning. Dr Lippas is a retina specialist, a vitreous specialist, and performed the surgery at 9:00 am in his office. This surgery required approval from the insurance company due to the expense but Dr. Lippas said we could not wait. He performed the surgery at his own risk of the insurance company not paying him. You won’t find a doctor often like this. He is stellar!!!

Dr. Lippas saved my vision. I went to several Doctors and found no help. He worked with me and was able to Dx my problem. I first went to him in 1998 or1999. Best decision I ever made. I have had several friends who saw Dr Lippas. And they all were happy. I will continue to rave about Dr Lippas!!

This is the worst eye doctor I have ever seen! I would never recommend him to anyone who needs a retina specialist! He has no patience nor bedside manner and was a waste of my time! I went to see him based on recommendation due to my macular pucker. I could tell he was not interested in my case. Now, the pucker is a hole. I have since found a very trusted retina specialist who will be doing my surgery.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lippas for over 23 years, and he has always been extremely knowledgable, patient and passionate ! He Does Not rush the time to attend to the needs of his every patient ! Unfortunately, he is closing his private practice to join another a Company, but I still will follow him.
