Matthew Lippas

Those negative reviews were written as a joke by a 'friend' of Dr. Lippas. I find it so malicious and sad that whoever his 'friend' is had the time to be so rude........not funny, not amusing and really just so sad............

There are very, very few doctors such as Dr. Lippas. I had a retina disattaching on a a Saturday night. I called the office phone, left a message, and Dr. Lippas called me back in 5 minutes. He asked about my vision and told me to come in to his office the next morning at 9:00 a m. This was a Sunday morning and he opened his office just for me. He did surgery without having the procedure approved by the insurance company. He said I had to have it whether or not the insurance would pay. D. Lippas then gave me his cell number and told me to call him if there were problems. There are very few doctors who would do an expensive surgery without knowing they would be paid. That is how much this doctor cares. He will be my eye doctor for life!

Dr. Lippas CARES about his patients and is an excellent doctor. I had to have emergency laser surgery to correct a retina that was disattaching on a Sunday morning. Dr Lippas is a retina specialist, a vitreous specialist, and performed the surgery at 9:00 am in his office. This surgery required approval from the insurance company due to the expense but Dr. Lippas said we could not wait. He performed the surgery at his own risk of the insurance company not paying him. You won’t find a doctor often like this. He is stellar!!!

Dr. Lippas saved my vision. I went to several Doctors and found no help. He worked with me and was able to Dx my problem. I first went to him in 1998 or1999. Best decision I ever made. I have had several friends who saw Dr Lippas. And they all were happy. I will continue to rave about Dr Lippas!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lippas for over 23 years, and he has always been extremely knowledgable, patient and passionate ! He Does Not rush the time to attend to the needs of his every patient ! Unfortunately, he is closing his private practice to join another a Company, but I still will follow him.

Dr. Lippas is thorough, very knowledgeable, and personable. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Lippas is one of the best physicians I have met. He combines professional competences, with personal empathy and moral integrity. He took his time to talk to me and he explained my condition and my options in a professional and human manner.

A wonderful and honest doctor: extremely thorough, patient , confident in his knowledge and experience. I had known Dr. Lippas for longer, than 18 years. He had always been attentive to my problems, gave a sound advice and had done needed procedures himself. He never pushes you to do any tests that are not needed to establish the diagnosis, and never orders you to see him again more often, than truly necessary. (Unlike others we know). Besides, Dr. Lippas always explains the diagnosis to me and all the treatments, and answers the questions, I may have, without rushing out the door. The office is equipped with newest technology, and has many rooms for different tests. The rooms are large and well lit. His assistants are good and helpful, as well, and happen to remain at the office for a long time. I do recommend you to see this doctor, if you need a highly professional opinion and help.
