My experience at Amen Clinic has been extremely positive so far. From my first inquiry call, I felt I knew exactly what the process would look like and even though I typically fear going to Doctor’s appointments I was fairly comfortable as I felt prepared. The office staff and atmosphere were warm and welcoming. The history appointment and the time with Dr. Chapek was comfortable as they were both so kind, empathetic, and patient. I felt like a person the entire time which doesn’t often happen during medical appointments. I never felt rushed or that the staff was rushing. I also appreciated that they tried to get as much out of the way the first day as possible since I was from out of town. After receiving my report, I feel very optimistic and am trusting in the plan they’ve laid out for me. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt I have the support I need to get back to being myself again.

Dr. Chapek was so friendly and down to earth. I immediately felt comfortable and could tell he really cared. He was very patient, a good listener, and spoke in simple terms that made it easy for us to understand.

Dr. Rishi Sood has helped with two of our children whom have ADD of differing degrees. One with mild ADD, but mod-severe executive disorder and other issues, and the second with mod-severe ADD. It is very difficult to first pin-point the issues even with NeurPsych testing, and then to find a medication to help and manage the side effects. Fortunately, Dr. Sood is very patient, skilled, and on top of his game. He educates the parent while trying to understand best how to manage the child. I have been struggling with trying to find the right help for our children for years and fortunately, we found Dr. Sood to help navigate through the various challenges. Definitely an amazing and caring physician.

Dr. Callen and her assistant Natasha Ricks have provided the best medical experience I have received. Not only do I feel I have gotten exceptional medical advice and treatment post stroke and for a sleep disorder, but they are exceptionally thorough and responsive. After my brain scans, Dr Callen took nearly two hours to thoroughly explain what was going on in every inch my brain in clear terms. The treatment plan was thorough, holistic and clear. I get prompt, proactive follow ups. When I request refills or ask questions, I get responses the same day. At least for me, I have never received treatment at a medical facility like I do at Amen Clinics, for perhaps the most important thing I can treat: my brain.

My experience with Amen clinics has been totally awesome and life changing in more ways than I could ever say. I am alive today and have overcome every hurdle I faced in brain health, and accomplished everything people said I could never do and more.
