Home Instead provided good at home care for my father with stage four cancer and memory issues. My dad enjoyed talking with the care pros. They provided companionship, basic meals, light housekeeping, and guidance with mobility. The office staff were pleasant and helpful.

It was wonderful to work with Margie and the caregivers. Margie took her time to explain Home Instead services when I unexpectedly needed help at home after a fractured shoulder and nose. Each caregiver was nice, helpful, and compassionate. Nika did a great job with scheduling the caregivers based on my schedule with doctors appointments. I recommend Home Instead if you need non- medical home care.

The staff at Home Instead has been attentive to our family's needs in caring for our 94.5 year old father, along with our 93 year old mother. This allows for my father and mother to stay in their home with the caregiver's assistance 3 half days per week. We have tried 3 caregivers so far and just found the right fit for my folks, which is working out well. The office staff has been able to guide us with some issues with memory and behavior issues which has been challenging. Thank you for your support and working with us as a team as we learn to support our elderly parents from afar!

This team has provided our family with 5 plus years of excellent care. They do a great job of communicating and avoiding difficult situations. the response is always quick and on point. The care they provide to my, soon to be 96 year old mother, gives our family the peace of mind that allows Mom to be as independent as she chooses !

I had an unsatisfactory experience with the hiring process at Home Instead. The initial phone conversation with Chloe went well - she seemed professional and explained the typical hiring requirements like the HCA certification, TB test, and drug screening. However, when I went to her office to pay for the background check and fingerprints, the communication broke down. I asked Chloe about the next steps after clearing the TB test, and she stated that the next step would be the orientation. But then, almost one week later, she told me that in addition to the orientation, there would also be some sort of additional test that would take 2 days. This was never mentioned earlier. When I asked Chloe why she never mentioned the additional test, she stated that it was not her responsibility to provide me the complete hiring steps, and that I was the one looking for work and had to go by whatever the company requires. I believe any professional organization should be transparent about their entire hiring process so candidates know what to expect. Chloe's response came across as rude and condescending. Ultimately, I ended up wasting money on the background check and time, which is unfortunate. I would have appreciated more upfront communication about the full hiring process from Home instead. Transparency and clear communication are important, especially for caregiver roles where trust is critical. I cannot recommend this agency based on my experience.

Doreise Oliver shows she and her team care. She took the time to come out and really get to know my Husband and myself. Doreise really listened to my concerns and understands that care and respect go hand in hand. She followed up with me after our Care Professional came out. The entire team is very professional and thorough. They have asked very thorough questions so that they can know my husbands needs. Home Instead Placentia doesn't just throw a caregiver in to get paid. They really try and find the right fit. Thank you

We have been part of the Home Instead family for a good four years. The care and communication has been consistently excellent. My mouther who is soon to be 95 relies on Doreise's team to support her daily. The comfort of knowing her caregivers are on the seen gives our family great comfort!

The office does not treat their caregivers/staff well from what I’ve heard. The caregivers on the other hand are great :))

Home Instead Senior Care in Placentia California has been amazing! The caregivers are a cut above, knowledgable, qualified, compassionate and dependable. The office staff have always been kind and always accommodating. They are absolutely wonderful! They feel like an extension of my family!
