I’ve been a loyal patient of Family Care Center. Doctor Friehling is my GP and a very compassionate and caring man. I unfortunately had a very poor experience today with the center. Arriving 15 mins. late (my mistake, I thought the appointment was 30 mins later) the person at the desk asked me to fill out and update information informed me that the PA couldn’t see me because it’s 20 Mins pass my appointment. The soonest I could make a new appointment is 5 days later. I guess thats okay if you’re not dealing with pain. My complaint is that I’ve waited many times to see my doctor, 30 mins sometimes up to 40 mins. and understand that sometimes these visits runs late. It’s a shame the front desk doesn’t have the same courtesy.
Honestly, I can’t say enough about this office! It is very rare to find a physicians office that has front office, back office, and doctors that are all kind and compassionate. Usually you get one without the other! I also would like to share that Dr Coyne was able to find something that other doctors had neglected to look for. He is such a blessing to our family and has taken amazing care of our daughter.🙏
I went to the urgent care with a bacterial sinus infection symptoms which I have communicated with my provider. The provider was very quick to do an “exam” and prescribed Prednisone. I asked for an antibiotic but the provider said it was a viral infection and didn’t need to be treated with antibiotics. Three days later I have made another appointment, made sure to communicate it was a follow up, because my symptoms got severely worse and got prescribed antibiotics. I still got charged for the follow up visit and I disputed it through the portal. I never got an answer but the bill came in the mail. My personal experience was bad and I will not be going back.

My insurance gave their number to schedule an appointment with this center, the representative answered the phone kept trying hard to find a reason not to schedule my appointment, first she said you’ve got the wrong medical center and when I told her the name of the doctor she said oh ok we have that doctor then she kept asking me like 10 question to try to find out a reason not to get me scheduled, then she said oh you date of birth is not matching! I called the insurance they verified my birth date is correct
