List of Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital's Reviews
Since I live in a small town (in the keys) I had no other choice than go to Miami Baptist. Out of experience before in another major hospital I was so worried about making appointments, call backs that never happened etc. I was in for a surprise. From the minute I made the appointment to the initial visit to see the doctor for my hip surgery ,it went flawless. Granted, the phones were not always answered, but It started out that one is assigned with a "surgery coordinator". every time I had a question that pertained to my upcoming surgery, I emailed my assigned coordinator and it was 100% taken care of.they answered within 6 hrs or so. This is so important to me because of past experiences in another hospital chain. I want to give many thanks to Dr.Lawrie, the best doctor, Mrs Patty Ortiz and Monica Suarez, surgery coordinators and all the nurses which were so kind and patient.i couldn't ask for a better treatment. Love you all
Incredibly disappointing. It was impossible to get in touch with them. Was left on hold for 15 minutes with no apologies. Once I dropped off my CT scans I was told I would hear back the next day. Never heard back. I had also sent an email through their portal the week before letting them know I needed urgent assistance because I have been feeling a lot of pain (with 4 fractures in my foot). Never heard back. Once I finally received a call today (almost a week later) from the PA I was told that no one checks the portal and that the phone lines don’t really work. I was so disappointed by the whole experience I have decided to look for another orthopedic specialist.
Visited Baptist Urgent Care for foot pain, and I was told to make an appointment here with the Ortho afterwards. I called in advance and asked if I needed a referral or anything else before my appointment, I was told NO by the phone attendant. Once arriving, they refused to acknowledge my appointment because my “insurance requires a PCP referral.” The desk clerk mentioned that the phone attendant is another department. Pointing fingers doesn’t matter, you all agreed to work for Baptist under the same regulations and policies. Please update and inform all employees and attendants regularly so others do not have to waste their time and gas like in my situation.
Best experience I have had for surgery. From the moment you walk in until you leave. This is the Ritz of Healthcare. The nurses and staff and extremely attentive and communicative and kind. You can hear behind the curtain how they all love their job and are happy and love their patients. I live in North Broward, and I rather drive to Coral Gables for premiere customer service and patient care then be local and be treated like a number and told they are busy or understaffed. Thank you Baptist Health and Dr. Roy Cardoso and your amazing entire staff. You all work like a team, effortless. You care and it shows. Your compassion, empathy and quick response rate really makes a patient feel safe and cared for. Thank you. You are the best and that’s why you are in US News & Report year after year as a top hospital.
I had a successful surgery to repair a torn labrum here. The wait time and service was efficient and the instructions for recovery were thorough.
This was an absolute pleasure. My son had surgery on his hand. The staff was kind, and very organized. Before we left the scripts were filled. Fantastic experience.
They didn't let my son see a doctor even though we made an appointment to see a doctor. They instead make you see an assistant even though we had an order to see a doctor from Urgent Care. They explained that is just how they do it. So the fancy website with all their board-certified physicians is a marketing tactic but in reality you cannot schedule an appointment with a doctor. And they wouldn't answer me as to whether they charge my insurance as if a doctor was seen.
This is the worst, most uncaring, disorganized medical practice I have ever experienced. After extensive knee replacement surgery in late March I was having excruciating pain. I called the office to try and speak to someone about getting additional pain medication and after 6 different calls that all seemed to end up at someone else’s desk, I was never able to speak to an actual nurse or doctor to discuss managing the pain. Four days after surgery I was totally out of any prescribed pain medication and now 8 days later I still have no meds and am in continuous pain. Since hospital discharge no one from the practice has called once to check in on me even after an emergency call I left with their service for the on call doctor. Is there really anyone home running this dysfunctional place? Avoid at all costs.
I’ve had to drive 30 minutes to the office multiple times and call more than twice a week to get one thing done(which is still not fully done)..all the while I have a bulging disc in my back.I’ve asked to speak with the supervisor and every time that they’d call back it’s one of the assistants. Dr.Claudia and her medical assistant isis in particular seems to be beyond unorganized. This is my experience and I’d never go there again even if someone paid me to. >If half a star was an option I’d smash that button
Mediocre care and completely disorganized front desk. Last visit I checked in on time for an 11:15a appointment. Sat in waiting room for 45 minutes before checking back with the desk...another 45 minutes passed and still not called to see the doctor. Wasted half a day and didnt even get to see the doc because I had to leave. What a joke....

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
