The Oncology Institute's Online Review Report Card

I gave this practice one star because it wouldn't allow me to give less. I scheduled an appointment for an initial consultation more than a week in advance. The visit was scheduled for Thursday, November 6. While exploring the website a few days prior to my scheduled visit, I noticed that it indicated that the office was closed on Thursdays. So I called to double check and make sure that I had the date and location correct. The person I spoke with confirmed the appointment and assured me that the office was, in fact, open on Thursdays. On the day of my appointment, I arrive 30 minutes early to find an open, but empty, office. After waiting a few minutes (and hearing movement in the distance) I called out "hello". Someone who stated that she did not work for the practice came out and stated that no one from the practice was there, with the exception of a single nurse, because they were closed. The nurse came to the front and explained that "due to an emergency, the office was closed for the week." Keep in mind that I had confirmed the appointment on Tuesday of that week. The nurse was VERY nice and apologetic. She took my information and stated that she would have her manager call me directly. It has now been 24 hours, and I have yet to receive a call. As a new patient all I could think was if they cannot manage appointments, how could I trust them to manage my cancer? Needless to say, I will NOT be rescheduling. It is just unfortunate that I wasted two weeks during which I could have been working with another practice.

Excellent staff and Dr. They are all very friendly and Dr. KHAN actually listens to you. I am happy I found this office. The young lady at the front desk and the nurse are exceptionally nice.

I’ve been waiting almost three months for a refund on services I overpaid for, and I still haven’t received it. The lack of communication and follow-through is very disappointing. If you’re expecting a timely refund , think again.

Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan takes the time to explain complex medical information in a way we can understand, always making sure our questions are answered and that we feel supported. His calm demeanor and patient-focused approach have brought us peace of mind during uncertain times. Dr. Khan has been a blessing to our family, and we trust him completely with my father’s care. We couldn’t ask for a better hematologist. Thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do. Do not hesitate to bring your family member or yourself here to be treated.

Each time I have had an appointment with TOI, I am treated very well and all of my medical needs are addressed. Their staff are courteous, professional, and patient. There is never any wait time, or overbooking of patients, so you will be seen very shortly after arriving. If you want to receive top notch medical care, try TOI and you'll be more than satisfied.

absolutely the worst people to try to deal with as far as getting in touch with the doctor or the pharmacy they direct you to leave a voicemail or to text them and then they promptly ignore the voicemails or texts you will never get a response back finally had to go through my insurance company to get a hold of anybody about a urgent prescription

Staff and doctor were all a great experience. The doctor that I had been seeing before they shut down, the doctor I liked but the stiff and the girls at the desk always frustrated and aggravated me when I left Togo home. Since starting Khans office , I know that they TRUELY cared and am glad that I found them.

I was very pleased with my appointment. It was precisely what I was expecting everything was on time. Thank you for your service. I am happy.

Office is a little unorganized. I had an appt last week. Came in and told me that my lab work was not finished and would need to reschedule. You would think they would call before my appt to let me know. Also wait time is pretty long. Appt today was for 3:30, now almost 5pm and still waiting.
