I have been going here for 2 yrs. I have never met Dr Collins. I only see nurse practitioners. They give referrals to Dr's outside of the network. Then tell you to find your own. Then when you do and get an appt. They deny the approval for the appt. Such lack of effort. I will be finding a new primary asap

The staff was very polite and the doctor took the time to sit and listen and address all problems.

Dr Alexandria was an expert she was so nice and kind I felt very comfortable with her she's a good doctor excellent

I was called to see my practicioner at my appointment time. That was very much appreciated! Melissa Swek APRN always listens to all my concerns and has a plan of action that is appropriate for me.

I went here a year ago and was seeing Christina Bowens. She was HORRIBLE!!! She messed up me and my husbands referrals more than once and made it so I missed my cardiology appointment because she wouldn’t approve the doctor because the one she referred me to doesn’t take patients there anymore, he oversees everything, so my insurance still covered me to see a doctor under him, all she had to do was approve it, but instead she denied it and sent me a new referral for a different cardiologist all the way down in Bonita Springs who called me the next day and said they don’t even accept my insurance there!!! What a joke!!! Besides that, I told her I had health anxiety and she clearly knows nothing of anxiety as she made me feel even more concerned about issues I would come in about and had terrible bedside manner, her eyes would get all big and she would say oh yeah you definitely need to get that checked out and every time it ended up being nothing. She fed my anxiety more than anything. And then she had the audacity to make me feel crazy and say I need to see a phycologist and literally laughed at me when I asked a question about my abdominal pain. She didn’t examine my abdominal or ask questions or anything she just laughed at me making me feel like it’s just a stupid question because of my anxiety and said “well obviously it hurts cuz of your PCOS.” Well I’ve had that PCOS my whole life and never had abdominal pain before so how can she assume it’s that and the fact she laughs at me and makes me feel stupid for asking any health question when I’m already having anxiety and then acts irritated I’m even there (and has before) and rushes me through the appointment. She was horrible. I’m still receiving a bill for 10 dollars from there that it said she billed for, for services I NEVER received!!! I have always payed my copay when I was there and always payed my copay at any other specialist appointment I went to and never received an alcoholic evaluation or psychiatric evaluation that it says that 10 dollars charge is for as I’m NOT and never have been an alcoholic and I am NOT in need of a psychiatrist as I already told her I had worked with a therapist for my anxiety already!!! She just doesn’t know anything of anxiety or how to be patient with people with it and to help them feel at ease and like they are in good care to build trust with them, no, instead she makes them feel like they’re stupid and annoying and are crazy!!! She is just horrible and doesn’t know what she’s doing!!! And makes her patients who are working through mental health issues feel like crap!!! I left the office crying that day and I will NEVER and have NEVER gone back!! Also, one time someone from there called me to tell me my breast ultrasound results and couldn’t even pronounce what the benign finding was and was giggling and sounded like a high schooler, it was so unprofessional. I used to get my bloodwork done there and every single time they stuck my 5 times before they got it right and had to take it from my hands and one time the needle even fell out while she was trying to do it. There was only ONE tech there that I had who actually knew what she was doing and even she said there’s nothing wrong with my veins, if ppl have trouble it’s because they don’t know what they’re doing. So beware of all that too. If you come here I would NOT see Bowens!!! She is a horrible doctor and idk why she is in the field if she is going to make patients feel that way.

MaxHealth - Dr Sanchez - Lakeland, FL If you want to see a Dr for many issues and you need his help and nothing is getting better but worse and he RELEASES you because you've had to reschedule some appointments due to your pain level being 20+, it really boggles your mind. Don't even ask for pain meds for some relief, you'll walk out with naproxen and a muscle relaxer that doesn't touch your pain. He's the kind of guy that sees you at his practice, doesn't even ask you why you are now with crutches and then the next morning has his office manager Rosa, call to say you are being RELEASED and cannot come there any longer. A doctor that cannot talk to his still patient at that time, says a lot to me. I will take the good review I wrote in the very beginning on google and replace it with this one. If you're looking for a KIND, CARING Dr., don't go to Jose Sanchez Ojeda, MD at MaxHealth on Griffin Road in Lakeland, Florida, because he's not it. What he did was not right and caused more stress in starting over again. I think he forgot the OATH he took to help people. He didn't help me, he hurt me. No patient deserves that because of some rescheduled appointments. He was my Dr, shouldn't he have known or asked why? Please go somewhere else.

I love the Max Health office I go to with Dr.Capri is the GREATEST. Highly recommend.The whole office is extremely helpful and caring .I feel like my concerns were all addressed

Just called this place to get a appointment to see a doc to get my thyroid med refilled cause I just moved here and they won't take out of pocket pay only insurance..Only thing I can figure is that can't justify the outrages price they must hit the insurance companies with. I'm almost 50 and never heard this before. I guess only in Florida. This is # 10 state I've leaved and and never heard this b4..
