List of Maxhealth Primary Care's Reviews
Everyone here at Max health are very caring and take care of all of my needs immediately. Very sweet team and wonderful Dr Milena Khorshid is the best primary care doctor I’ve ever had
Tried to call … as YOU requested… to provide the name of my new primary care doctor. Neither your local phone in St Petersburg or your toll free 855 number are working. No answer by anyone … anywhere. My attempts were at 4:15 on a Wednesday. Great healthcare … glad there is no emergency
BEWARE - Unless you're on Medicare, do not go here for primary care. Months after having a great initial visit with Dr Munoz, I received a call saying that he would only see Medicare patients in-person going forward. And beyond that, he would not do virtual visits. So essentially, moving forward I could only have virtual visits with some other doctor. This was extremely frustrating, and seemingly a cash grab move by MaxHealth to not prioritize younger/healthy patients. As my next annual visit got close, I called again to see if their policy about in-person visits had changed. I was told that no, they still only saw Medicare patients in-person. I decided to look elsewhere for a PCP. When I called MaxHealth to alert them, they told me Dr Munoz had left MaxHealth months ago, and I wasn't informed, so I essentially did not have a PCP. Needless to say I've left MaxHealth and gone elsewhere for primary care.
MaxHealth - Dr Sanchez - Lakeland, FL If you want to see a Dr for many issues and you need his help and nothing is getting better but worse and he RELEASES you because you've had to reschedule some appointments due to your pain level being 20+, it really boggles your mind. Don't even ask for pain meds for some relief, you'll walk out with naproxen and a muscle relaxer that doesn't touch your pain. He's the kind of guy that sees you at his practice, doesn't even ask you why you are now with crutches and then the next morning has his office manager Rosa, call to say you are being RELEASED and cannot come there any longer. A doctor that cannot talk to his still patient at that time, says a lot to me. I will take the good review I wrote in the very beginning on google and replace it with this one. If you're looking for a KIND, CARING Dr., don't go to Jose Sanchez Ojeda, MD at MaxHealth on Griffin Road in Lakeland, Florida, because he's not it. What he did was not right and caused more stress in starting over again. I think he forgot the OATH he took to help people. He didn't help me, he hurt me. No patient deserves that because of some rescheduled appointments. He was my Dr, shouldn't he have known or asked why? Please go somewhere else.
I have been trying to speak with my primary care physician for over a month and all I can do is speak to a nurse. Dr Clemente-Ortiz sent in a prescription to my pharmacy without discussing it with me first. I have concerns regarding this medication and would like to speak with her about it, but she refuses to call me back. Looking for a new PCP.
I love the Max Health office I go to with Dr.Capri is the GREATEST. Highly recommend. The whole office is extremely helpful and caring .I feel like my concerns were all addressed
They were on time you didn't have to wait half a day they were very curious and answered all my question
There very nice and help you with your issues
Too clinical!!! Staff is fine, but the Dr. I saw barely listened to me, and CORRECTED me on a comment I know to be true. They made me sign a "DEA directed" statement.
this is specifically for the location off Bee Ridge in Sarasota, FL. I was used to seeing Miss Jackie Foster. Absolutely amazing PA to deal with! I had a bi annual appt in November that I was told a couple days in advance that it needed to be moved. next opening was in January. OK, sure, no problem. Things happen in the office, I'm a healthy appointment, I understand needing to be moved. Well, my January appointment comes around. I forgot what time it was at, so I call that morning to ask when I was suppose to be in. I was told my appointment was cancelled. THEY ADMITTED TO NOT TELLING ME THEY CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT! Next appointment....late March. So yes, I got upset, and there was no way they could fit me in. I just wanted to go over my bloodwork results, so they made a recheck appointment. I come in for the appointment, front desk staff is not friendly (it had been deteriorating the last 2 visits I came, but I ignored it). There was a paper they wanted all their clients to sign, but I refused since I decided I wouldn't be going back. Months later, my refills on medication is not approved. I go to make one final appointment, and I was told they don't take my insurance. Yes, I got very upset that I felt they lied to me. I get patched over to the manage voicemail and ask for a return call. Never got one because their manager doesn't went to do their job. If they don't take my insurance anymore....how come my coworkers still go their with same insurance? Also, if you don't take it anymore, why haven't you sent out emails or letters? If I was terminated as a client, I was never notified. I will miss Jackie and the backstaff team. However, I will not go to another Maxhealth if their managers are going to be that unprofessional by not handling complaints, or when office staff and manager think its OK to not notify clients of changes.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
