I just tried to call to get information about down stairs the lady got smart with me and hung up in my face . I’m am sick person and trying to handle my business.
Lady upfront is rude and don't give a crap about the patient..only the money ..I had to cancel a appt fot my heart test because I pinched a nerve in my back .. went to reschedule my stress test and they said I was scheduled to get on treadmill which I can't do because of my knees and the last 2 stress test was done by injection ..so she wanted me to scheduled another appt to come in and talk to doctor about getting the shot which is 1 copay and then the test is another copay the the follow up which is a 3rd copay .. .. then when I said he'll no she said we'll im disconnecting this call.. so really she hung up on me without asking the doctor even after telling her I had to go to fire dept last night because of chest pains .. if I have a heart attack me or my family will hold them accountable for neglect. Very un professional.. going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint to who ever is in charge of that place !!!
This is in no regard to the doctors, they are wonderful. But for the love of Gawd…stop over booking. It’s a wait in the waiting area of at least 30-45 mins. A wait when you get call to the back of 30 mins plus sometimes. It’s ridiculous!
I came in today as a new patient with a 10:30 appointment. I checked in, sat down, and just a few minutes later the front desk staff called my name and told me my appointment had been canceled the day before because I supposedly canceled it myself. That immediately didn’t make sense . If I canceled my own appointment, why would I still show up for it? When I questioned it, they then said, “Well, if it wasn’t you, a girl answered and canceled your appointment.” That was impossible — no one else has access to my phone. On top of that, they claimed they called me at 3:42, but I was working at my home desk the entire time. I had no missed calls, no voicemails, nothing. When I asked what number they dialed, they just read the one on my chart; which proves nothing about what number was actually called. Instead of acknowledging a mistake or offering to make it right, I was met with pushback and treated like I wasn’t being honest. This all happened in front of other patients in the lobby, which was not only embarrassing but completely unprofessional. The manager could have easily said, “I’m sorry for this misunderstanding, let’s see how we can accommodate you or get you the first available appointment.” That would have gone a long way. But instead, I received no apology, no empathy, and no attempt to help. As a new patient, with underlying heart conditions, I expected compassion and professionalism. Instead, I walked out feeling disrespected and dismissed. That first impression was more than enough to let me know this is not the office for me.
Very unprofessional.Because of this caused me to have a bad panic attack.Calls ignored put on hold for over 10 minutes asked to speak to a manager or supervisor was told there was not one.Called next day the same person who I had a bad experience with told me they were manager
Good care; Great expertise. But like all health care providers these days there's wait times and multiple appointments for tests, etc. There's the Medicare as well ascstate I'm guessing regulations which must be followed. Case in point. I needed clearance for an outpatient orthopedic procedure. I had to make total of 3 appointments for clearance -- appointment to see MD, one to have an echo and a 3rd to receive the results of the echocardiogram. But overall the staff knows their stuff. Unfortunately I visited when they were implementing a different computer software EPIC. And I had an unpleasant experience. To be sure, I've been a patient there for several years now and about 24 years ago had opportunity to work with or observe several of the cardiologist in a hospital setting. That is what I've based a couple referrals on as well as my choice for my mother and myself becoming their patients
Went for yearly check up!
Staff and doctors are all always in a pleasant spirit and professional
My experience with Atlanta Heart Assoc in Riverdale have always being excellent.
Dr. Shared results of previous testing and set up new testing. Vitals were taken but no physical examination.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
