St. Luke's Clinic's Online Review Report Card

I didn't have an issue with urology until they sent me to where they do labs and I'll tell you what they don't care how they attend to children when doing labs the lab tech Traci was fishing in my child's arm after stating my child has a really good vein but then she failed to do her job so started digging in my child's arm making her crying intensify. I told the lady to get her needle out of my child's arm because she is digging in there and she proceeded to tell me she didn't do anything wrong when there was witnesses the lady helping her and my husband. Then she hands me a cup to put my child's urine in and says you can take it to another hospital you see fit. So grabbed my child and went to the front desk and then I ask for whoever was in charge of lab and this lady Summer comes out after making me wait a while and I tell her the situation and all she could do was say they was the best hospital and try to justify digging in a one year olds arm is part of the job. So sick to me I've never seen professionals that have been drawing blood for 10+ years digging in a child's arm like that. I shouldn't be seeing the needle because of how Traci was lifting the needle to dig in my one year old arm. I would def not recommend going here and if you do be aware of who you have taking blood for your child and stand up for them when it's not being done right don't let these people tell you they just doing their job as they are hurting your child because that is not right. Come on at Luke's do better for these children they already uncomfortable with the process don't make it worse for them. Traci needs better training talking but most importantantly how to draw blood. They need a better manager as well than Summer she was completely rude with trying to cut me off and talk over me to justify her employee. Never again made me sick.

I’m extremely disappointed in the care we received at St. Luke’s Children’s Urology. It’s clear that patient well-being is not their priority. Our experience felt rushed, impersonal, and dismissive. The providers seemed more interested in checking boxes than actually listening to concerns or offering real support. There was a clear lack of compassion and communication throughout the process, which is especially upsetting when dealing with children’s health. It felt like we were just another appointment on the schedule—not a family seeking help.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. My son had a circumcision performed by NP, Benjamin M. Taylor which got infected the next day, FOWL SMELL & oozing. By day 3 his penis was severely swollen alongside the mentioned symptoms. I immediately took my son to the ER (the following Saturday) where was he was prescribed antibiotics. Ben Taylor’s nurse then called me the following Monday and relayed the message that Ben Taylor said it looked great & didn’t look infected. I was advised to stop antibiotics. I reminded them of the secretions & fowl order coming from his penis. I was told no follow up appointment was necessary after requesting one. Now my son’s penis has healed improperly due to inflammation. The skin of the shaft has adhered over his penis forming scar tissue due to the inflammation. I went in yesterday to see what to do because his urine is almost unable to exit from the top of his penis because the hole from the scar tissue is getting smaller and smaller. I had an appointment with Dr. Kara N. Saperston and she could not answer any of my questions. I can’t even tell you how many “I don’t have an answer for you” I got from her. All she advised was a prescribed steroid cream to apply on the skin of his shaft OR putting my infant son under anesthesia to remove more skin. I asked her how often this happens and she said 4% of the time. Then told me they do twenty a day. So to put this together for you guys, this happens at this clinic 1 out of 20 boys they see a day. These people went through years of school, training, and are paid how much money to botch an infants penis, tell mothers there’s no way to know how they botched it. I am disgusted with the lack of care, concern, and reasoning my infant son and I have both received from these people. Absolutely diabolical behavior and malpractice coming from these healthcare “professionals.”

They don't even deserve a star they are liers and don't care about patents at all they push them aside like they don't matter and fail to do their jobs to help patients the gal by the name Samantha is the worst of all

We had a great experience. My kids loved the lobby seating and looking out the window during the short wait to be called back. The nurse was very kind and attentive to my child listening to her tell all about her school and such. Once in the room my kids happily played with the temperature hand print pad on the wall. Dr Ben Taylor was excellent at helping me feel validated in my worries for my child and gave great insight on how to help her. He spoke directly to her with great kindness and respect and took great care in helping her understand her body/situation. We have both felt extremely supported as we work to improve her health.

The wait time was much better this time. Staff was very nice to my little.
