Dr. Koan is a great dermatologist and an even better doctor. After a bad experience with another dermatologist, Dr. Kwon was a breath of fresh air.

Dr. Kollman is one of the most gentle dermatologists I've ever had. She's not only super gentle (never felt any of the injections) but she's got a great "bedside" manner and she's always so friendly and kind. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dermatologist!

My second visit with Dr, Kwon was great.he explained everything to me regarding medication and hair growth. And the possibility to f additional medication if needed. Very happy with the Derm Insttute.

I made an apt for my husband and he showed up. They canceled his apt and I never was notified through text, call or email . He took off work and MARY The receptionist was rude , I may have given attitude due to the frustration of it being canceled and she did not accommodate him being seen at ALL! Very unprofessional on her end. I’m very upset bc if I had cancelled I would’ve been charged , but it’s okay for them to cancel as he drove all the way over there just to not be seen . Mary is very rude!

Easy to get appointments and terrific doctors and staff. Highly recommend. I made the switch from Northwestern and got in several months sooner.

I do not have enough good things to say about Dr. Kwon or the Derm Institute itself. Dr. Kwon was so personable and knowledgeable, and even though I originally made the (same-day) appointment just to get a shot for a cystic pimple, he also prioritized discussing other, longer-term solutions for preventing and dealing with this kind of acne. Also, the front desk was incredibly responsive when I had questions about billing and insurance coverage. Could not recommend more highly!

Dr. Kwon was able to quickly pinpoint that I had been previously misdiagnosed by several dermatologists with eczema instead of psoriasis. He is clearly knowledgeable about the nuances of skin conditions, and has a really friendly and down to earth presence.
