List of Saluja Medical Associates's Reviews
Had a visit 10/2/25 and it went smoothly, found parking and looked across from the Mom’s Grocery Store to find the building they were located in. Checked in, sat down and within 15 mins of arrival they got me into a room and then after around another 15-ish minutes I met Dr. Sharma and he was able to look into everything for me as I had a long list of things. We agreed to focus on a few and then touch base again on the other things after tackling the most critical items first. It’s been a great experience so far for my first visit and I’ll update this as I go through more visits.
**STAY AWAY FROM SALUJA MEDICAL** This was one of my worst experiences trying to see a doctor! First off ive waited over 2 months to get this appointment. Today I waited OVER an hour and watched people left and right get called back including people who checked in loooong after I did. Second off, after waiting an hour, I was turned away! They said the doctor would no longer see me because they had to see their other patients. This office does not have a proper system in place at the front desk to operate efficiently and you will waste your time and your effort here. Truly disappointing and discouraging as I really needed to talk to a doctor today..
Dr.Saluja and his medical team are beyond amazing. Words can't describe the tremendous and excellent care they provide for my mother on a daily basis. Their open door and line of communication policy is extremely smooth and available at all times. They take a personal and professional interest in the well being of my mother and others. I would definitely not only recommend their medical services but also be willing to give my confidence in that they will provide the same level of services for each and every new patient. They are the best and a cut above the rest. I could go on forever about how great their services are but I wouldn't have enough space. Schedule an appointment and you will experience for yourself and your loved ones.
My experience with Saluja over the past two years have been crap. Most recently, I went to urgent care which sent results to Dr. Craig Watkins indicating I needed hospitalization. Despite them getting the info on a Thursday, the office did not call after getting test results, did not return the callback to me as they said they would and the doctor wouldn’t even spend a moment on the phone to address my issue. Wonderful- considering I’m in the hospital while writing this review for their inability and inaction in getting me admitted to the hospital for the issues they failed to follow up with me for almost five days. The office staff is a mixed bag of effectiveness and not willing to go above the minimum to assist patients. Dr. Watkins is a relatively effective doctor, but as a fellow Black person he definitely failed me with his lack of response and inability to address the urgency of my medical issue. When you think of the stereotype of Black American doctors,my experiences with him and the Saluja practice make me unlikely to seek out a Black doctor again. If an American Black man can’t show the proper concern for a fellow Black man, how are we as a race supposed to trust each other in these type of professional settings? This practice is subpar and Dr. Watkins did not properly care for me as a patient.
Front desk is great. Dr. Gurminder S. Ahuja is not worth seeing for any orthopedic issues. When asking to explain his thoughts he was already out the door and ready to go. Asked if he was in a rush as the appointment had only been 3 minutes. His recommendations included never playing basketball, running or doing intense activity again. When expressing concern about acute pain that was not tied to obvious arthritis it was maybe a hamstring tear, maybe meniscus, maybe there is no meniscus. I asked to receive additional imagery MRI to see what exactly is going on as no doctor can touch a knee for 45 seconds and make a definitive assessment. This was met with a stern no, no reason to view and potentially address problems but that sport is over. Never met a doctor/person with this disposition.
I have two different doctors at this location and they are both very nice. Scheduling appointments is easy and the staff here are very communicative. I have not had to wait long when I come for appointments either. I also like having access to the patient portal.
Scheduling an appointment is really annoying because it's nearly impossible to talk to a person on the phone. Their asynchronous message system is fine if you are patient. Once you get in the office, everyone is great.
I've been seeing Dr. Saluja for many years. From the beginning I liked his caring approach and his willingness to take time to ask questions and to explain things. He communicates clearly and knowledgeably. Best primary care provider I've had in 60 plus years of seeing doctors. His staff also are competent and friendly. My wife and I see him together for followups and that works well. I'm really happy we found him - via a friend's recommendation - and I recommend him to anyone.
Waited to be seen for an hour. Very unprofessional. This happened at both locations. Do not recommend
Customer service decent but the provider i spoke with didnt listen to my concerns and so i have to make another appt with another provider to see if they can assist me

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
