Michigan Medicine West Shore Urology is a joke, their scheduling and referral team is so unprofessional. Repeatedly sending information to the wrong insurance company and wrong fax numbers delaying important testing and surgeries. Having to call daily to correct their mistakes and get referrals to the correct place.

They will lie to you to get the information they need from you for their studies. Yes, I said lie! I was lied to. If their research assists will lie to you about something as small as $60, what else are they dishonest about? I would be very hesitant to enter any study with these unethical “medical professionals”. And I use the term “medical professional” very loosely!

I turned to Michigan Medicine because I needed an answer. Not just any answer or the one you wanted to give me, but the right answer — the one is going to provide insight and a path forward to relief, recovery and restoration.

We moved to Michigan about six months ago, and I have been trying to establish a Child/Adolescent Psychiatry provider for my son at U of M Health. After waiting months for them to process the backlog of referrals, we are now facing repeated cancellation of appointments from providers. My son suffers from depression and ADD, and has been out of prescription for months now. We thought it would be worth the wait given U of M's great reputation, but at this point, we are faced with the prospects of moving on to another provider elsewhere. The experience of the past six months has been less than a pleasure, to put it mildly. We expected better from U of M.
