Uofm West Ann Arbor Health Center's Online Review Report Card

So... There was construction on 23N. I called the answering service to let them know, so they could let the office know. I was told that I had a 15min grace to get there, and the message would be passed on. So I walk through the doors at 10:23 for my 10:10 appointment and both receptionist desks are empty. I sit in the lobby and do the digital check in, go up to the desk waiting for some one to come back to the desk. Eventually the check out lady tries to help, but another lady behind the desk says I'm too late, "some one looked for me at 10:28, and I wasn't here." My questionnaire (that I completed in the waiting room) shows as completed at 10:26. So even though I was within my grace, and completed a digital check in, I had to reschedule because some one (who didn't even call my name), said she looked for me and didn't see me... My doctor is great, but when you are looking at a 6 month wait to see your actual doctor, and then this is how the staff treats you when unexpected obstacles happen for that appointment. What's the point of the ,great doctor, that you might have to wait an entire year just to get in and see him. THIS PLACE IS TOO BUSY AND OBVIOUSLY UNDERSTAFFED!

Waited several months for an appt in integrated medicine. Called ahead (had to make several calls and was given conflicting info) to verify insurance codes, etc and was told that this would be a consultation. Arrived at the appt and was told this was incorrect and had the appt cancelled. Very unclear communication and overall a big let down and waste of time

Everyone was kind and courteous. Loved the Christian bookstore that was inside building C. Stephanie Koch was amazing! She works at the bookstore. So many incredible items in there. ❤️

The so called nurse who wants to attack President Trump is still employed by your organization and she’s working with elderly patients.. how many of these elderly patients have died or suffered from this deranged person who is still employed! Utterly pathetic and shameful 🤮🤮🤮

This review is specifically about the lack of communication between departments here. I drove an hour and 20 minutes altogether to get to this appointment that I’d had scheduled for a while. There was a crash about 10 minutes from the clinic that I was caught in for a half hour. I called while I was stuck in the traffic and was informed there was a 15 minute grace period, I let them know that my gps had adjusted and was stating I would be 17 minutes late. They said ok and that they let the nurse know so I kept going. Traffic cleared up, I got parked. I am also in a cast right now (foot/ankle) mind you. I got to the clinic within the 15 minute grace period. I found the suite and walked up (and by walked I mean hobbled because again, I am in a cast….not moving quickly) to the window JUST as it turned to 9:06, which was 1 minute past the 15 minutes but still a minute sooner than I told the person I called I would be there. I was told to reschedule…I said I’m here in time, and they looked me dead in the eye and said “it’s 16 minutes past. They don’t care if you’re even 10 seconds late, they’re very strict.” I told them that i was told they put a note in saying I was stuck in traffic and when I would arrive. She confirmed that the note was there but that they keep telling people to keep coming and that she would have her supervisor talk to the scheduling department and tell them to stop doing that because the physicians won’t see anyone over 15 late. (Even 10 seconds.) I explained that I’d driven an hour and twenty minutes…they didn’t care. I get physicians are on tight schedules….but jfc. I worked in a hospital for 5 years and currently at a health clinic (4 years there) and we have strict rules about lateness too but we just make it work for situations like mine today…we don’t turn someone away that just drove all that way and gave us notice about an accident when they’re less than a MINUTE past the grace period!

10/10 no not recommended, they employ individuals who support the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

If I could give them a zero I would! dr. Alexandra Hart and her nurse had the utmost disrespect to me, my partner and my child. I will never be going back there again. She thinks it’s OK. That heavy metals is in formula. They are not a vaccine friendly clinic and they hurry up and try to force you to dress your child. Also, they argue with you about everything and think they’re more superior. This is just a pre-warning if you’re thinking about going there.

Best doctors ever, amazing care, very low wait times. Highly recommend

While I have absolutely loved my doctors here, getting in to see anyone has become a joke. It takes months to even get an appointment, and I'm tired of being passed around from doctor to doctor because this place takes on more patients than it can reasonably handle. A reschedule for a basic appointment shouldn't send me six months out, trying to schedule because I have an infection eating at my finger shouldn't get me passed off to a 24/7 nursing line. I have been a patient here for well over a decade, but the way the scheduling has been handled lately leaves me feeling less like I have a primary physician and more like just another number to be filed away. Despite everything and how well the doctors here have treated my family I think it is time to move on to a practice that values its patients and their time instead of how many people they can churn out in a year.

Michigan Medicine West Shore Urology is a joke, their scheduling and referral team is so unprofessional. Repeatedly sending information to the wrong insurance company and wrong fax numbers delaying important testing and surgeries. Having to call daily to correct their mistakes and get referrals to the correct place.
