List of Motion Sports Medicine's Reviews
It's my first time at this facility, I am enjoying every bit of the services rendered. I love the staff, they are very accommodating and professional. I will recommend Motions to anyone!!
Beware!!! I went here for an initial physical therapy evaluation, and on top of the $575 charge for the evaluation, I was charged $150, $295, and $295 for three "therapy procedures" I was never given--unless $640 is the fee for someone putting an ice pack on my Achilles tendonitis?! On top of this, when, at the end of the evaluation, I told the PT that my schedule would not permit me to follow the treatment plan she suggested, she completely dismissed this concern, instead insisting that I figure out a way--which made the entire visit completely useless, since she seemed only to want to suggest a treatment that was impossible. On top of THAT, it turns out that many PTs advise against icing an Achilles heel, and indeed, that $640 ice pack only worsened the pain by stiffening the tendon. Not only a useless waste of time and money, but actively harmful. Do NOT go here.
Two great sessions this week at Motion Sports Medicine. Just what the doctor ordered and no bad after effects. I think I'm on the way to recovery.
I first visited Motion Sports in Ditmas Park over 15 years ago when it was a privately owned physical therapy office operated by David who I believe sold the practice to Motion Sports but has remained at the practice to share his expertise and leadership. He and Luke, the two therapists with whom I have worked over the years to address several issues, are both outstanding and I have never been disappointed! Both David and Luke are professors of physical therapy with outstanding PT and patient relation skills. Also a shout out to the staff ~ especially Charise and Gigi at the front desk who have help me numerous times with forms and scheduling. Over the years I have recommended this practice to several friends all of whom have agreed with my trust in the practice. At Motion Sports the therapist works with you one on one for the entire session unlike at some of the NYC PT mills where a single therapist shuffles from client to client! Finally as a testament to their outstanding practice, they recently renovated and expanded their office to accommodate more clients!
I am using Motion PT - Danbury Physical Therapy. The level of care, efficiency and therapist skills are superb.Carol Anne guides me through the process and makes it easy for me both physically and mentally to accept and adopt it. I see major improvements but it will be a journey.
Very bas experience at the Rye facility. The Therapist manages 4 patients at same time and cannot provide proper support to anyone. In their expensive bills they listed therapies that were never done.
Courteous and kind staff, comfortable faculty and great service!
Excellent individual attention and time with patient. The physical therapist answered questions, clearly, and succinctly, extremely Informative, professional, and pleasant
Luke has been working with me and now I can shower with my eyes closed
Rob and his associates are first rate. If you have back pain (mine was herniated disc at L5) you need this group! The Director of Hopkins Spine Rehabilitation told me to go to them because they are fully credentialed in the McKensie Method, which he believes is the best PT for my issue. I wasn't disappointed. Rob is a good listener, and gets where you're coming from. My pain diminished by the second session, and I had four consecutive pain-free days today, in my second week of treatment (working towards seven by the end of the week). I am so grateful to Rob and his team.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
