Amazing practice, every doctor is very knowledgeable , experienced & calm. They make you feel like ur in great hands (which you are) and anything that may arise isn’t reacted to with such worry but still perfectly addressed. Very happy

I am a high-risk mother, under the care of every doctor, I gave birth to my baby very smoothly, my English is not good, but they are very patient to answer every question I am very grateful to them, each of them is very professional, I love them, they are so great

Avoid. They abuse their power especially to those with Medicare. My sister had gone there a few times in regards to a cyst. They told her she would have to have an ovary removed and that she would function fine without it. Naturally she got a second and third opinion where she found out she most definitely does not need to have her ovary removed only the cyst. The doctors also performed two exams on her while she only needed one. During these exams while she was in stirrups they waved in students without notice nor her approval. She is mentally and emotionally scarred from this event. We will be seeking legal action. If anyone else has been subject to their abuse and malpractice pls reach out. Our biggest concern is that they've taken advantage of many women with low income insurance through the state. And have performed unnecessary procedures such as a removal of an ovary. Please stay away from this place they are monsters.

As, the previous reviewer wrote: Avoid this place like a plague. They will figure out a way to do C-section !! I had my delivery here, unfortunately. When I showed up, Dr Robin Kailish was on duty. She was extremely rude; I appeared a bit scared and she talked down to me saying I need to co-operate or else the baby wouldn't be delivered. While my lower part was all open, she let medical students observe without asking me for permission. Very embarrassing, all these people seeing you naked while you are having severe labor pain. I was only 5 cm dilated, so after several hours, she came and did some hand movements on my belly. As soon as she left, within 30 seconds, the baby monitor went on alarming spree- beeping. The nurses looked shocked. I was told the chord got around the baby and I need the C-section immediately. They prepped me for C-section and at the very last minute my doctor (Gita Sharma) showed up and she performed the C-section. I was thrilled. However, after the C-section, the stitches were leaking pus, took many days to heal and I was given antibiotic for 10 days or so - which would go into the nursing milk. The most painful part is that I could not have a second baby. I started getting endometrial cysts, very painful. I had to have laproscopic surgery to get these en-cysts removed. Never had any history of cysts before the C-section, I was extremely healthy. During the labor, the doctor who gave me the epidural kept chatting with a colleague and bragging how good she was. She poked me twice before getting it right, which was very painful. There was another pregnant mom, who was hispanic and a bit heavy, she told me that she was poked 6 times to get the epidural in. Overall, I got the impression, that if you are not a white woman and tough talker, they will take you for a ride because you are vulnerable. Also, during the pregnancy, for all my follow-up appointments with Dr Sharma, I used to wait 45-60 minutes. She would barely see me for 5 mins. I later realized talking to other waiting moms, that there were atleast 2 patients given the same appointment time and it appeared that they had patients lined up almost every 10 minutes or so. Please choose a smaller hospital that is not overbooked even if you have to go outside the city for your delivery, it is worth it!! I am writing this review after 7 years have passed for my delivery. I moved out of NYC but still feel the trauma of the whole birthing experience. New York Presbytarian-Weill cornell is heavily in demand, with cocky doctors who are mediocre, overworked and trying to prove themselves at your cost.

I came here for a second opinion- my former gynecologist from another hospital had me in tears (I had quite a few issues and he recommended very aggressive/unnecessary surgery). I saw Dr. Havryliuk to get a better idea of how I should be treated. She was kind, empathetic, and very intelligent. She also seems to just know more about methods for treating ovarian cysts than my previous doctor. Also, the office is very friendly and comfortable. I would recommend this practice to any woman- especially one who may need surgery or special care.

Avoid this place like the plague. Firstly, takes forever to make an appointment and some clinicians should not even be practicing medicine. The admin staff are lovely but it does not reflect the clinicians (Nurse Practitioners, Resident Docs). They do not even call you when the lab results are abnormal!!! I had to read my own results online and interpret them myself. When I finally got a call, the doc had a short and cold tone like if I should already know what my results are! I am just flabbergasted and in disbelief that such a top medical center has such crap Clinicans! Wow!
